Well, to start off, it’s about a 14-year old boy who has a developmental disorder called Asperger’s Syndrome. In this condition, you’re very socially restrained and shy. Christopher John Francis Boone is the main character of the book. He is a smart and rather curious boy who very aware of his surroundings. Christopher is very intellectual for his age (14). He was the person who realized that Wellington, the dog died. On the first page it says: ““It was 7 minutes after midnight. The dog was lying on the grass in the middle of the lawn. Its eyes were closed.”(1) He then picked up Wellington to see how he died. Unfortunately, he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. When Mrs. Shears saw him holding the dead dog in his hands, she immediately assumed that he had killed Wellington. The police came over, interrogated Chris and asked him questions quite fiercely. Another thing you should know about Chris is that he does not like people to touch him. As a result, when the policeman touched him, Chris acted aggressively, leading to his arrest for assaulting a police man.
