Do we really love animals?
The truth behind animal research and testing
Animal research and testing has been a huge controversial topic in the U.S. For many years, lots of organizations like PETA have created movements to eliminate this completely but without very much success. Personally, I can’t find any positives to animal research and testing but the majority of the U.S population does since animals are used in most major companies and research projects performed by doctors. Animal testing should be eliminated altogether. To begin, doctors race to find a cure to many illnesses that come up with humans. They work long and hard trying to figure out a way to stop

Most people might agree that theses three methods are more humane than others, however, they are still not entirely a solution. Most animal research labs now a days are very secretive because of the simple reason that many extremist act out against them in inappropriate ways. There are always cases where people sneak into these labs and release all the animals and also destroy the property. Even though I understand the good intentions of the people, it is not the proper way to solve this problem. Having these labs be more secretive in fact can be worse. The people who control the animal-testing lab will feel that if no one knows that they exist, they can do whatever they want. They are more likely to mistreat and misuse the animals because they wont have to be worried about abusing the law. All laboratories, if there should be any, should be highly controlled and regulated. There should be inspectors coming in and out constantly making sure all the animals are being treated fairly and properly. It is alarming how many well-known companies use these types of animal laboratories just to make a bigger profit. For example, the companies that test on animals include Vaseline, Johnson & Johnson, Neutrogena, and Cover girl. These are only some companies. There are about thousands of companies that still test on animals. Animal testing is not necessary to benefit the human society. There are many cheaper and faster alternative methods that help
Animal testing is not only beneficial to human but also animals, at least to those who are not used in the experiments, such as pets and endangered species. Along with researching for new treatments and medicines for
There has been a lot of animal testing in the United States and thousands of animals already have been killed. In research and testing, animals are subjected to experiments that can include everything from testing new drugs, poisoning for toxicity testing, burning skin, causing brain damage, implanting electrodes into the brain, maiming, blinding, and other painful and invasive procedures. Animal testing should not be allowed to proceed because millions of animals are getting killed, the results aren't always right, and it is more expensive to test it on animals.
Animal testing has risen as an extremely controversial topic among scientists and animal rights activists. Many see it as a necessary part of finding cures for thousands of diseases. On the other hand, animal rights activists believe it is an inhumane, harsh, and unnecessary flaw in science. The argument can go back and forth but I believe animal testing should not be used in today’s technically advanced era. The laws are flawed, the failures are evident, and the available alternatives prove that animal testing should be indefinitely banned for future science experiments.
The testing of animals in scientific and commercial research has been debated for many years. Some people view animals as companions or part of the family, but others think of them as a way to advance medicine by providing researchers with a means to develop better medical techniques, discovering vaccines, and helping to find a cure for a disease. Regardless of how a person may view animals, they are worthy of better protection by our government and us as a society. Although some animal testing has been successful, there are research alternatives that could eliminate the pain, suffering, and deaths that animals endure in scientific research. Therefore, animals should not be used in scientific research
Over one million animals are burned, immobilized, poisoned, and tortured in US labs every year (DoSomething.org). Animal testing is considered a very controversial topic that evolves to protesting rather large companies, and also leads to boycotting a specific brand that is known to test on animals. Animals should not be used for testing products because it is cruel to the animals, there are now new ways to test products, and animals are very different from humans so they are not accurate results.
The topic of animal testing is a widely controversial topic that is discussed by many people. Some people believe that animal testing has contributed to many advancements in medical treatments and should be continued. Others believe, correctly, that animal testing is cruel and inhumane. Animals testing should be abolished because it is cruel to animals and humans are different than humans.
Animal testing is weird. You would have never thought scientists could learn so much about diseases in a human body from a completely different animal. It’s amazing how people are able to learn so much by testing on other animal bodies. We also have to think about stopping animal testing, though. Many animals die because of testing. By continuing testing on animals, we lower the death rate of all animals each day, human and animal suffering decreases, and less of your hard earn money would be spent.
Animal testing is inhumane. There have millions of innocent animals that have suffered a vicious, painful death due to animal testing. In research labs, animals are screamed at, beaten, and stuffed into small cages when researchers are done using them. Dissection at schools is also wrong. They cut open defenseless animals, just to see how there insides work. Animals and humans aren't even exactly alike. “92% out of every 100 drugs that passed animal testing failed clinical trials on people,” . Every year in the United
Animal testing has been occurring for centuries for reasons such as experiments, testing vaccines, testing cosmetics and much more.
Does animal testing really benefit humans or does it provide false information for the human products? For some people, testing products on animals is the better route to go in testing products. They feel that if something bad were to happen, they would rather the animals be harmed rather than the humans. For others, they feel that animals have the same moral status as humans do, and it is cruel to harm the innocent animals. Animals make up a big part of this world, and a lot of them are being taken away from their natural habitats and environments and put into a cage to be observed by scientist. They are taken and thrown into laboratories to be given multiple tests and
Unfortunately today there are many cases of animal abuse happening around the world. Animal cruelty or animal abuse can be defined as the infliction of suffering or harm upon animals for purposes other than self-defense. There are many different types of abuse such as using animals for research, using animals for entertainment purposes, abandoning animals to shelters, and animal neglect. We need to raise awareness and find a solution to these issues. Animals are suffering and we need to help them.
Others may disagree but animal testing kills a massive amount of animals, it causes animals to suffer and most of the time experimenting on them is a waste of time. Due to animal testing massive amounts of animals die. While they are being tested they are suffering . Sometimes the testing is a waste of time because it leads to no reasonable results. If you disagree with animals being tested on you should consider supporting
Some think that it is necessary to test on animals. The facts show that it is not necessary. Some countries are legally required to test products on animals; the US however, does not require
Animal testing, although extremely debated, is something that should no longer be practiced anywhere around the world. Let’s start by taking a look at just how much animal testing is practiced in the United States as well as in other countries. The article called, “Animal Use Statistics” from the Humane Society International, says, “Only a small proportion of countries collect and publish data concerning their use of animals for testing and research, but it is estimated that more than 115 million animals- including mice, rats, birds, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, farm animals, dogs, cats, and non-human primates- are used and/or killed in laboratory experiments each year around the world.” I find this to be very absurd and so wrong that this
There are other ways to get results without testing on animals. Humans can just as easily be test subjects themselves.
