To Begin, I believe that Anthony was the most responsible in the group failing, therefore he is number one. Anthony, in my opinion would be classified as firstly, a blocker. He showed signs of this by immediately rejecting Donald as any help to the group and proceeded to leave him out of the group. Secondly, he is a dominator. He tried to take control of the group from the start and leave the others with as little roles as possible. Then, when the group presented, he took 21 of the allowed 24 minutes. This left Silvie scrambling to finish her thoughts and Donald only seconds to finish his. Also, he is has a cynical role as well. He went straight to the Professor and complained about his group and about how he doesn't want his grade to depend
After completing the group task of preparing a presentation on, transferring individual facilitation skills into a group work setting I will critically reflect upon my own participation. I will evaluate my self-awareness while working in the group, as well as those around me. The way that I personally dealt with any issues that arose within the group and how that affected the group dynamics. I will also briefly discuss the roles in which each member of the group took and how role allocation affected, the group dynamics and the working relationships. Finally I will evaluate my work having discussed it with my fellow group members.

In this paper I will describe and analyze my experience working in a group situation, writing a paper on the movie 12 Angry Men. I will address therapeutic communication techniques used in our group situation. I will address any conflicts that arose in our group. Utilizing Tuckman’s group process theory, I will also address the effectiveness of our group process.

Jim can analyse finance. He was not much interested in the retreat. Bob managed production and operations for a producer. He claimed to be an authority on most subjects even though these appeared to be conceited. Larry had a liberal arts background and high educate degree. His speaking ability was good. Rich had both good speaking and writing abilities. He could assume the leader’s role. Wayne was an average student and the most naive member. Ollie had the ability that performed many odd jobs and leaded the victories. Gary was thought could be the emergency leader of the group. He had the ability that encourage people even though he failed himself. Burrell was reliable and he coached basketball well. He could handled that if something goes wrong. Paul was an average student. He complained a lot, however he tried to promote the function of the whole group. It showed that he was very serious about this retreat. For convenience, the group leader set up 4 goals for the whole retreat. And he arranged the seat by person’s age and experience. Maybe this is the way the leader thought they can cooperate with each other. They tried to maintain an harmonious relationship between the members. They made a lot efforts to make the one who left the group at the beginning feel comfortable. And they tried not to make a big deal out of some serious personality problems. However the after a few days working, most of time they
The four work groups identified in the key points from week 3 are the Veterans, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Generation Y or Millennials all work in my agency the US Army. Individuals with different values, different ideas, different ways of getting things done and different ways of communicating in the workplace have always existed. Each group has its strengths and weaknesses, similarities and differences, but having this kind of age diversity in the workplace can be challenging for leaders, but also very rewarding. Veterans, tend to respect hierarchy characterized by valuing traditional relationships over time, structure, and loyalty. Baby Boomers tend to value relationships over time, challenge and accept authority, while primarily idealistic
Michael is currently working on his PhD and has plans to leave the company. I will assume that he may not have the time or desire to commit to this high- stress project. I also don’t think his personality will fit within the group members. He is passive-aggressive and can take things personally. I did not choose Bob, though he has been with the company from the beginning, he tends to over-react and can be unprofessional. Finally Tiffany was not chosen because I don’t think she would contribute much to the group. She is jaded and cynical, not a good combination when working on a team under stress
On Wednesday, October 22, 1911, at 11:35 a.m., I, Officer Anthony Clark, was dispatched to the nearby drilling site located from the Sunday Farm to investigate an assault. The assualt was reported by William Longfellow (DOB 10/13/1877), a work at the drilling site.
This stage sees group members begin to confront each other as they begin to vie for roles within the group that will help them to belong and to feel valued. Thus as members begin to assert their individual personalities, the comfort of the forming stage begins to come under siege. Members experience personal, intra and inter group conflicts. Aggression and resentment may manifest in this stage and thus if strong personalities emerge and leadership is unresponsive to group and individual needs, the situation may become destructive to the
The first group is the Captain Knows-how's. This group is often the shy, quiet personality in the whole troupe. However, if the director needs a task done they always find this group. No matter what, or how hard the task is, the Captain Knows-how's will never cease to amaze. Beware, they may seem friendly, but if caught in the midst of them and without a tool in hand, know that "death" is near. This group is also known to be "blessed with patience", because they sit with the Queens of Drama when they need a hand. Nevertheless, this group knows how to get the job done and a phrase commonly heard is, "Trust me, I know how,"
An important part of our learning and growing experience must stem from our ability to analyze and reflect upon the groups that we have been members in. This reflection can define our understanding of the weaknesses both in ourselves and in the others within our group; and it can help to shape the way that we act in future groups. Adjusting ourselves to compensate for our weaknesses, based upon an honest and thorough examination of our actions within a group setting, is one of most important thing for any person to do. It is only through this evaluation that we can improve ourselves and our interactions with others. This paper will examine a group that was required to make an important decision about adding a new member

After completing the quizzes I seen there were more to being a member of a team than just showing up, doing your part, and interacting with others. There is listening to everyone's opinion and valuing them before making a sound decision. Yes, I do that, but does everyone? I do not think so always and this could hurt many people’s feelings. I see from the quizzes I am not a bias person and take everything people say into consideration before I make my last vote. These exercises have made me think about work, work groups, and how they affect others.
First, I believe that Anthony feels inferior to Lakisha, due to her job and recognition. I think Anthony may be a little arrogant and he thinks he knows everything, like most younger adults nowadays. Anthony feels he is much better than his supervisor and knows more than she does. Therefore, I believe Anthony has problems with superior woman figure.
The second step in the process is termed "digesting". Wood chips are cooked at 325 degrees Fahrenheit to
