The ancient greek storyteller aesop said, “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Being kind is a good thing you should treat people how you would want to be treated. Being kind is all about showing a positive atitude towards others. There are different ways of being kind to people like, helping people if they need help with something or giving a respectful complement to others. If eveyone was to be kind to one another the world would be a better place.
When you show a good atitude to others and being a respectful they would show respect back. Some examples of ways to be kind are listening to the teacher when he or she is talking, listen to your parents, giving good compliments, and helping someone if they need help.

If you be disrespectful people aren’t going to trust you or even might not like you. Bullying isn’t being kind thats being mean to people. It hurts people feelings when you treat them different from others. Bullying should be stopped because people who are being bullied threatens to hurt theirself. People don’t deserve to be treated different beacuse of the way they look or the way they do things. People should be treated right no matter how different they look.
Once I was always mean to people because of the way they looked or how they do things. I thought it was cool to be a bully because they were the cool kids. I use to bully people and be mean by judging how they looked. Now I notice that being a bully isn’t cool. When I was mean people didn’t like me, now I know it feels to get bullied. I have changed and im a better person. Im respectful and kind to others.
If you would want kindness from people you should show respect to others. People who is disrepectful to you that doesn’t mean you should be direspectful back because you should be the bigger person. If someone is being bullied you should go get some help. If your kind your also being a good citizen. Being a good citizen is like helping with the community and leaving the world in peace. Being kind is the right thing to do for the world to be a better
Kindness is an easy thing to understand, a person is nice to someone instead of being mean, but to truly know what kindness is a person has to suffer tremendous pain. In Naomi Shihab Nye’s poem “Kindness,” she explains that a person has to be brought to to their lowest point and build themselves back up, before the know what kindness really is. They have to witness all the ugly parts of life, see all the bad in the world before they truly appreciate kindness. That person need to figure out who they really are before they know what kindness is.
Although I would consider myself a decently nice person, I never realized it as much until I received the Kiwanis Award a year ago. There was a whole speech written about my achievements and how fantastic I was and everything. One very prominent part of the speech was how kind I was to others, no matter how badly they talked about others. People saw me as an extremely kind person, which I myself do not exactly believe. But my compassion towards others was strongly emplaced alongside all of my other achievements and was great enough to have me nominated for the Kiwanis
It is important to strive for kindness because, it makes people feel appreciated, and it
In A Christmas Carol, Scrooge give the Cratchits a prize winning turkey without the cratchits knowing, once the turkey arrived the Cratchits were so grateful for the turkey. In “Thank You Ma'am” the kindness is in the story when the lady gives the Roger 10 dollars after he tried to take her pocketbook, that is kindness because she did not have to do it but she did. My personal experience with kindness is when I let my brother have 20 dollars for a shirt he wanted, I did not have to give him the money but I did
We live in a world where theirs just some evil people. If everyone would just be kind and giving we would probably have a chance at world peace. Its good to be taught to give to those who may not be as lucky as you are so, you don't grow to be selfish. more people in our world should be concerned and caring about others instead of just themselves.
I know that I am not always the nicest person. I am trying to be a much nicer person (as you can tell it is not working out very well.) It is a harder process than I thought it would be but I will continue to try to become a nicer person. I am starting by trying to reach out to people who are in need or distressed with school work or friends or just the stress of life.
True kindness isn’t practiced strictly when it is convenient but also when it is most inconvenient. C.S. Lewis spoke universal truth when he said “Everyone feels benevolent if nothing happens to be annoying him at the moment…We think we are kind when we are only happy” (The Problem of Pain,
Kindness can be demonstrated in a number of forms. At school, in home, around neighborhoods, during after school activities, and anywhere else you can imagine. An act of KIndness does not have to change the world,
I have always been told to treat every moment as your last because you never know when life will end. It is, therefore, important to always be kind to everyone, no matter the circumstances. Although this statement seems cliché, it is a challenging lesson to live by. Performing little acts of kindness as seemingly unimportant as holding the door for someone and wishing her good luck is worth so much; I have not only become more aware and appreciative of those around me, but also have tried to brighten every day by complimenting or helping those I
The ancient Greek storyteller Aesop tells us a deep yet simple quote. We use kindness everyday and not have any unused. Even if you never used any kindness before or if it's a small thing, none of it is ever wasted. One example of kindness would be donating to charity. Take time out your day to make your community a better place and help find cures to brutal diseases like cancer or start a bake sale and give food for the homeless. If you can’t donate why not help the elderly
Being kind is a task everyone is challenged with each day but many people never seem to master kindness. Kindness is an emotion that is giving off to others as being polite and considering others whether you know them or not. Kindness is a characteristic that is only felt or seen by others. Kindness is a form of love that someone can express towards somebody and will either be excepted or denied. The importance of kindness is to see that being kind is the right thing to do in any situation no matter the anger or frustration. Kindness is needed in order to show love and happiness to others and also shows that you respect a relation with someone. If you drown someone with kindness people see good character in you
Treat people the way you want to be treated; that's what parents constantly tell their children; in order, for them to be kind to others. If your rude to someone, then that person will be rude to you. If you smile at someone, then that person will smile back. People's actions influence each other in both a positive and negative way. When you do a kind deed for someone that brightens their day, then they will feel happy and inspired to do a kind gesture for another person. It can be as simple as opening the door for someone, or helping them carry their luggage. However, when someone is having a bad day and take their anger out on another person, then that person is mad the rest of the day and may lash out on someone else. Not only do you
Here in this article I am going to explore eight ways through which you can practice Self-kindness
“You’re too nice.” If I had a dollar for every time someone has said those words to me, I would have enough to pay my way through college and possibly still have enough to buy a house afterwards. However, what some fail to understand is that kindness can change lives; and as dramatic as that sounds, it’s true. During my sophomore year of marching band, we gained a new member in my section - anna; though she was not as fast at learning as everyone else and definitely not as mature. More times than not, she could be pretty annoying and unfortunately, she was often the center of jokes. However, she was always walking around with her rose-colored glasses, keeping a cheery disposition. She always sat by herself reading a book
I learned that it’s hard to determine what really constitutes as a true act of kindness. The act of kindnesses I performed always had some ulterior motives behind them, whether it be expecting something in return in the future or just satisfying myself because I did something good. But I feel that even though people who do kind deeds might have ulterior motives, the action is always appreciated no matter what and the sense of happiness from doing the deed is just an added extra.
