Motherhood is a choice you make every day, to put someone else's happiness and benefit ahead of your own, to teach the hard lessons, to do the right thing even when you're not sure what the right thing is, and to forgive yourself, over and over again, for doing everything wrong. Being a mother is one of the most blessed and the most challenging job in the world. Giving birth to a new life and making it walk through the new world holding its hands showing a good trail and being the best example you can be.

Women in this world have a right to bear children and take care of them. As a new parent, there are millions of questions, worries, and decisions one deals with throughout the whole child's life. When a child is first born, a mother has to decide whether or not to breastfeed or formula feed. The nutrition a baby receives in the first months of life is what determines if the baby has a good or bad start. Women should breastfeed their children because breastfeeding boosts chances of success for their child, allows their baby to receive natural immunity from antibodies, mothers are less likely to develop diseases such as cancers or diabetes, and breastfeeding stimulates oxytocin to promote bonding between mother and child. Breastfeeding is the best choice for a baby.

This means that every year, approximately 8 million breasts are swollen with Mother Nature's own ambrosia, ready to start our children down the path to a healthy and well-adjusted life. Having a child is the most natural thing in the world to most women. Breast feeding is the the most healthy food for a newborn child. The nurse and the doctors should found out her preference first because most women make up their mind during pregnancy and if they receive proper education from the doctor and nurse, followed by attending breastfeeding classes, they would make the best decision and prepared for it before delivery. To address the postpartum mother reluctancy on adequate nutrition for a newborn, she should not be judged nor forced into formula or breastfeeding, rather,respect her decision, found out why she does not want to breastfeed, any concern should be addressed appropriately.

This is because people think breasts are just a sexual organ, but however, they are an erogenous area. Mothers everywhere are being shamed for feeding their babies in public even though it is what's best for the mothers and the babies. “Breast milk contains antibodies that protect infants from bacteria and viruses. Instead of verbally abusing the women who breastfeed in public other ladies need to support the new mothers by knowing what the law states about breastfeeding in public and protecting the mother’s rights.

Being a first-time mom, you don’t always have time to do everything you did when you didn’t have a baby. Breastfeeding mother can sometimes feel overwhelmed because they don’t always want to feed in public or around others, this can make the flexibility a lot more difficult. Breastfeeding in public is natural, however, others think it is inappropriate. A survey has found that 6 out of 10 women who have breastfeed take steps to hide it in public and a 3rd of these women feel embarrassed or incomfortable nursing outside of their home. The poll also showed that 1 in 5 believed people did not want the mothers to breastfeed in public and 1 in 10 who chose not to nurse their baby were influenced by the worry of doing so outside the home. The poll was carried out by Public Health England's parenting advice service. It is illegal to ask a breastfeeding woman to leave a public place but there have been high-profile cases of women being told to cover up.

Have you ever stopped and stared when you seen a mother breastfeeding? Or maybe have you ever seen a mother getting criticized for breastfeeding? Have you ever stepped in or wanted too? The question continues to circle through people's minds. Everyone has their own opinions and are entitled to them, but does that give them the justification to judge others? A lot of mothers get criticized and lectured for breastfeeding in public. The real question is, if breastfeeding is legally aloud why are people frown upon it and should people be informed on the benefits on breastfeeding and should people be aloud to judge a mother on the decisions she choices for her child? Through this paper, we want to help provide individuals with information for them to understand why a mother would chose to breastfeed and why it's apart of there basic right to do as they wish with their child.

So often, mothers are asked to leave restaurants and stores. However, they may rarely be asked to leave because of misbehaving children; the problem generally occurs because the mothers are simply attempting to feed their child. Wendy Wisner has experienced this first hand. She and her husband happened to be out one day and wanted a bite to eat; they settled on eating at Subway. While they waited on their sandwiches to be made, Wendy’s baby needed to eat. Ordinarily, she began to nurse him. From across the store an employee called out, “Excuse me, ma’am, you can’t do that here.” The woman continued by saying, “Listen, I nursed my babies too, but you can’t do that here. You can go to the restroom if you want to continue. People are eating here.” As she made this comment, she motioned to another customer with his back turned to her. The employee finished by stating, “that’s indecent exposure” (Wisner).

For many years, woman’s breast have been sexualized due to breastfeeding, there has been an excessive amount of hatred and arguments surrounding the topic of; breastfeeding in public. Some individuals believe it is disturbing and intrusive, while others are completely supportive and find it to be natural. There are many opinions and point of views that are for and not for breastfeeding in public that are reasonable, it all depends on the level of maturity. Society has considered breastfeeding in public being a sense of disturbance, however; breastfeeding is the most natural element of life and tremendous amounts of support must be given toward mothers instead of shaming them for essentially keeping their child alive by feeding them when desired.

However, some people think of breastfeeding as Nudity. Breasts are viewed as sexual items rather than a natural way of providing nutrients and comfort for a child. Anxiety about breastfeeding in front of other people affects breastfeeding for women with low self-confidence or who feel society disapproves of breastfeeding in public. They start to feel uncomfortable. Women should be able to have rights to legally breastfeed their babies in public. Mothers report that that they felt more comfortable breastfeeding in a park than a shopping mall. In some cases, women are asked to leave the premise due to them breastfeeding. Parents do not want to explain to their children about breastfeeding. So, they label breastfeeding in public indecent. Parents who are concerned about their children asking questions should just explain to them. This will help people understand the benefits of breastfeeding.

The controversial topic of whether to feed a infant breast milk is a widely known topic.

Adoption is an unlikely option because only 3% of women end up deciding to give up their babies.
