According to CNS news, 88 percent of population growth in the U.S. over the next 50 years. For that reason, immigration has become a controversial issue today. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party have had debates about it. Democratic candidates are in favor of immigration reform, while Republicans candidates are against immigration reform. Some democrats’ candidates are Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, and Bernie Sanders.
Hillary Clinton supports the immigration reform. She considers that our country gives refuge to those that need it. Also, Clinton is against deportation of immigrants because those people lost their opportunity in this country to be legal and broke down their families. Jeb Bush adopts a negative position on immigration reform. He thinks that America should not have a multicultural society. Bush argues that birthright citizenship has to keep saving. He expresses that a lot of immigrants come to the United States illegally. Donald Trump said that he has a unique hardline and position related to the immigration; he thinks people what come to this country in legal way can be welcome, but if those people are illegally having to go back. Other candidate disagree for instance, Bus says Trump’s policy would be impossible to implement. Also, Marco Rubio adopt talked about his position on immigration. He considers the problems related immigration should be solved many years ago. Even though he comes from a family of the immigrants; he thinks that U.S should know who are coming into our country. Furthermore, Rubio makes a claim about immigrants from Cuba who receive federal public assistance based on their situation as a refuge and after a time they return to their country
