Arree Walton Sr. was born on April 11, 1924 in Big Sandy, Texas, the firstborn child of the late Willie Sr. and Daisy T. Walton. He grew up on his parents large farm where he learned discipline, hard work and respect at a young age. As the eldest child, responsibility was usually expected of him as he often worked on the farm, babysat his younger siblings and neighbors, and attended to the needs of the four other families that tenanted his father's fields. He excelled in his education and was involved in all his school plays and was always given the roles with the most lines, because his teachers knew he could always remember his lines (his teachers often stated he could memorize a newspaper overnight). Unfortunately at the age of 14 his father tragically died as a result of an injury he sustained while working on the railroads. After his father's untimely death his mother decided to move their family to Los Angeles, California to be with her sister, Arree's Aunt Tessie. Determined on keeping his father's estate in order, he decided to stay on the family farm while the rest of his family moved to Los Angeles. When he was eighteen he dropped out of high school to pursue a career as a rock star. When he was in his twenties he caused his family to get kicked out of their church, the Seventh Day Advent, because he was questioning the way the leaders interpreted the Seven Seals of the bible. Arline Crute Edwards is a native Staten Islander who has lived mostly on the north shore. She was educated in New York school system and attended Manhattan Community College. In High School, she was an activist who helped organized ‘Culture Day’ to highlight diversity amongst her peers. Jerrel Muse Jr is well rounded in all areas. When he was six he demonstrated strength in reading, writing, speaking, listening and math. Now that he is eight, his scores were average to above average in word word reading and spelling. On the verbal portion Jerrel Jr scores were all above the one standard deviation. Two officers were involved Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze, protestants of black life matters and other institutions that support civil rights are unsatisfied because no charges were pressed against the two officer. In my opinion the death of Jamar Clark is not justified with enough evidence that proves the innocence of the officers.
In 1997, four men were accused of killing 15-year-old John Hartman in Fairbanks, Alaska. The four men were George Frese, Kevin Pease, Eugene Vent, and Marvin Roberts also known as the “Fairbanks Four”. Three of the men are Native Alaskans, and the forth is Native American, which they claim they were wrongfully accused due to racial discrimination and an outdated form of police interrogation. Marvin Roberts is currently out on parole while the other three are sentenced between 38 to 64 years. Since the beginning of the accusations in 1997, the four men denied killing Hartman. Rogers mother’s one condition about this trip was that he wore a life jacket because roger did not know how to swim. In not long roger would be falling down the falls.
