Castles, palaces, and cathedrals are scattered across Europe. Each one possesses unique characteristics and architecture bearing resemblance of their time. Some castles incorporate Greek influence, roman or gothic influence in design. Other castles and palaces are surrounded by sculptures outside in the courtyard or include sculptures worshiped as an altarpiece. While any one of these things would serve to make an ordinary castle more elaborate there is one palace that possesses all of these: The Palace of Versailles in France. The Palace of Versailles has managed to incorporate classic architecture, exquisite sculptures, and amalgamated the old design with the newer design trends of the day.

Bihzad places strong emphasis on the complexity of the palace’s architecture which he has adorned with colorful ornaments and emblazoned with gold. Each room is decorated with rugs and tiles featuring complex floral and asymmetrical patterns that cover each chamber from floor to ceiling. As they progress, their techniques to survive evolve. The need for a permanent shelter became vital for a better stability of the group. Throughout the centuries, architecture has fascinated everyone. History is inscribed in buildings and they can express the political and economic power of a nation. Although time has gone by, buildings have not. You can still idolize ancient Egyptian and Greek architecture and see how the events that occurred at that time influenced them.

I too admire the art of architecture. The Ferdinand Cheval Palace of France and the Crooked House of Poland are both wonderful examples of how buildings can be turned into a piece of art. Crooked house looks like a photo that has been warped completely out of proportion, but in reality, it was built that way. It looks like it belongs in a painting rather than in reality. The Ferdinand Cheval Palace is my personal favorite, and for good reason. It is also known as the Ideal Palace, and took 33 years to build. Furthermore, it looks like something out of a fairy tale, with intricate designs and animals built into the walls and roof.

In ancient civilizations, architecture was fundamental to revealing certain aspects of a culture, such as its leaders and their communication with the citizens. Rulers that controlled society utilized temples and buildings to express their power and communicate with their subjects. Cultures were able to express their abilities through architecture, along with their beliefs and the functionality of their society. Architecture allowed cultures to leave behind physical evidence of their existence and further display their ideologies, capabilities, and accomplishments. The exploration of architecture in ancient Persia and India reveals many correlations between the two cultures. Ancient Persian architecture displayed the Persians’ liberal policy, in incorporating diverse cultures, and their intricate designs, most of which, relating to royalty. Meanwhile, ancient Indian architecture exhibited close resemblance to Persian architecture, and the Indians also used their building as an expression of royalty and the power that the ruler held.

I read and started perusing and composing the names of structures and the engineers that appeared to be engaging. After, I turned every building upward online to see the picture; the real structure and by inclination I started to wipe out and select the ones I discovered generally fascinating.
