Autobiography As a child, my most desired dream was to be called Dr. Elsayed. I have always wanted to be a healthcare professional to help people live a happier and healthier life. Even though I was unsure of what specific field I wanted to study until I entered high school. All I was thinking about was the white coat that would have my name on it, and people calling me a doctor. The time I was applying for colleges I was interested in becoming a dentist because of the experience I have worked as a dental assistant for approximately a year. However, I chose Biology as my major to complete my prerequisite courses for dental school. Currently, as a college student, I still want to be in the healthcare professional field, but obtain a bachelor degree in Nutrition and Food Science, which I am in the process of changing majors. My desired outcome for this semester is to pass all my courses to have a good high GPA and get involved in a variety of activities as I did throughout high school.
Frank A. Clark once stated, “If you can find a path with no obstacles, it probably does lead nowhere.” I was born and raised in Egypt, then I moved to The U.S. when I was twelve, eighth grade. In terms of learning, it was very difficult to accustom to my new school and a different educational system. There is a huge difference between the educational system in Egypt and the U.S., which affected me as a learner. Growing up in a community with people who have the same language, race, and
My career goal is to become an Occupational Therapist and specialize in pediatrics. I want to specialize in pediatrics because I have always loved to be around children and be able to help them in whatever they need. Also, pediatrics is important to me because kids are our future and if I can help kids for their future I will be glad to do so. Helping kids become more independent on their activities of daily living makes me happy because I am helping them to become more independent and make them feel like they can accomplish anything. In order to be able to do this I have to get a Master Degree and I plan on getting this degree from Loma Linda University. In five years I see myself working in the Occupational Therapy setting and working with kids. I see myself, making others
of clinical rotations will help me set a definite goal for my future. I know that I generally want to be in the surgery room, but I'm not entirely set on one career. At this point in my life, I would like to become an anesthesiologist because I like to concentrate on one thing and I would like to be in the surgery room, but my hands are too shaky to be a surgeon. I would like to attend Texas A&M University and major in biochemistry and minor in pre med, so that I could get into a medical school.
I wanted to be like the doctor helping people. I had went through middle school still wanting the same thing, then when it came to highschool. I wanted it more than anything. I searched for high schools here in Charlotte that could offer some kind of medical education that could possible help me pursue my dreams of one day becoming a doctor. I found a school called Phillip O Berry. It is a huge technology school, which also offers, Engineering and Medical Academies. I am currently in my last year here, I did follow through with the medical academy. I am in my last medical class I need. I really enjoyed being able to take these classes here. It has really opened my eyes to what it really is like being in the medical field and the obligations we have. This is just the beginning of the start of my medical career. I will go on until my title is Dr.
I have aspired to be in the medical field for as long as I can remember. At the beginning of every school year the teachers would inquire each student to share what role we wanted to pursue when we grow up, my answer was always the same: a nurse. I am very goal oriented, and I am aware to accomplish anything you must work for it and put in one hundred percent. Mistakes can be critical, but they remain a huge part of the learning experience and advancing. How one handles those mistakes are ultimately what makes or breaks you.
The career that I have chosen and have currently been accepted into the program would be a Medical Assistant. In addition, for me reaching my goal I still have a long way to go, but I plan on accomplishing my dream of becoming a medical assistant. I will have one more semester that will include classes such as, Math, English 114, as well as other prerequisite classes that I must finish before I can take any official medical classes. After accomplishing those prerequisite classes I can then take my medical classes, however they must be taken in sequence throughout the semester and I must do well in all of them to remain in the program. Furthermore, for me to become a medical assistant at my college you must attend a 2-year program that leads
My educational goals are attending a four year university getting a bachelors degree in science with a minor in chemistry. Throughout my time in university I would also like to become a certified Phlebotomist and EKG technician. With obtaining my bachelors in science and minor in chemistry this will be a step towards my final education goal in applying to a master program to become a Physician Assistant. Being able to understand and know health scientific problems has been a lifelong goal of mines helping people to know more about what they can do to prevent or become better has always been my
When it comes to my education and career goals I have very many. The first one is to finish high school and in Fall 2017 I will be attending National Park College for the RN to BSN program. I currently attend Tennessee State University as a freshman. I plan on majoring in Dental Hygiene. I am the first to graduate and attend college in my family so of course everybody has high expectations from me. My mom and dad sacrificed a lot for me to attend school and get a good education and they taught me that without education you really can’t do much with your life. I want to have a good career and a good degree so I can be successful in life. I want to make my parents happy and very proud of the young lady they have raised. My father’s dream has always been for me to major in Dental Hygiene because of how successful I can be. And my dream has always been to make my dad (my inspiration and my role model) happy. When I started off
From those goals, I chose to be a pediatric nurse. It is hard to make a decision on which way should I major in but it is important to follow our heart when we have to make a decision on anything we do. I chose pediatric nurse because I know that pediatric nurse is what I wanted to be, what I love to do, and what makes me happy. I know how much important it is and how much beneficial for everyone. I found myself to be a pediatric nurse as my career because the pediatric nurse gave a great beneficial for every human life, it brought us a good salary, and give us a connection with
I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Currently, I am a pre-med student majoring in biology, and my goal is to eventually work as an Emergency Room physician. What initially drew me to work in the medical field is that it would allow me to have a career in science and help people. Service is important to me because my parents instilled in me the importance of helping others. My mother works for the Milwaukee Health Department so I am aware of the health challenges facing many of our citizens. I want to be an Emergency Room physician so that I can improve the health of my community in a way that also allows me to have a career that I enjoy. The College of Letters and Science is helping me achieve my goals by providing me
The major I will be pursuing in college is nursing because there are many different career avenues, I can choose from. As I’ve grown up, I have never been the person to sit in one place, but one that was very active. I have participated in sports throughout high school including field hockey and lacrosse. After college, I wish to work in a hospital, but after, I want to be a travel nurse. I want to assist the underprivileged and give them a better life. I also dreamed of being a military nurse because I want to protect the people who allowed me to come to this country and make it my home. My greatest inspiration of becoming a nurse is through my experiences as a younger child. When I was born, my grandmother had been in a nursing home because

I remember myself sitting near a little block with letters and my mother teaching me the name of each of them. She starts to sing me a song to help me to memorize the alphabet. It is so funny singing the ABC song. At that instant, the door opens, and my father enters the room. That is the first thing carved in my memory, and each time when I think about it, I conclude that we are the best family in the world.
Let me start from the beginning I was born October 22, 1998, and lived an average life that was full of ups and downs well more downs than ups. I lived in Massachusetts till 2000 moved to Sanford then in 2003 I moved to my current house in West Newfield and have been living there for almost 15 years. I started school late since My twin and I missed the cut-off date and waited until the next school year to attend. I went to Line Elementary School until 6th grade then I went to Massabesic Middle School and Finally Massabesic High School. Now It’s almost 4 months since graduating high school and in my first year of University. Throughout that little summary of my life since birth nothing really stands out about me being an outsider or even feeling like one but I can tell you that throughout my I felt like an outsider at times and felt 100% accepted at times. My life is average like most other people. Found my group of friends and went on an adventure with them that helped me find out who I think I am and who I want to become. Went through hard times of losing family members, friends and pets and found love with people I thought I would never love. Life taught me that you will be an outsider on many of occasions and that you will accept and loved on many other occasions. No matter what life throws at you just be ready to catch it and throw the ball right back and say not today. Being or feeling like an outsider can be really hard and stressful on you. You could start trying to
