Babysitting Monologue

Short Story/Scene In a little town in California, Littletown ville, is a town known for baseball. They had a little league called the Littletown ville Jaguars. They didn’t have practice today for the little league all stars, but joe’s friends had decided to practice. “Hey billy do you want to play catch?” said Joe.

I am a mother of 3 and I LOVE children. Obviously loving children is mandatory, but being a mother isn’t. I have (most of the time) amazing patience. Although no one has perfect patience but patience is one of those mandatory child care qualifications. Being trustworthy is crucial for any relationship between parents and providers. I have high standards for morals and values. We are the care providers for our future generations. I have a sense of humour and I am prepared to have fun. Another expectation is for me to rearrange my life, my home, and my schedule

I know there’s lots of explaining to do about the baby I have next to me and the crime I committed I just want you to know I’m sorry. When I left England and arrived in Boston I waited two years all by myself waiting for you to arrive. You never came I knew you had to stay for some time back in England because they needed you studies, since you were a scholar one of the smartest people there. I never heard any news on what happen to my husband I know that you know that I married you for your money ,but still I can worry I am a human being and my worries are truly for when you didn’t arrive. Poor poor me. I have no family and no friends, all I have are my fur coats and my red and black cruiser. Teaching is not a lowly job as most people think. Teaching is a profession that is highly, commendable just like banking, nursing and other professions. However, some people often ridicule the teaching profession merely because of its poor pay, poor career prospects, not to mention the perceived monotony of the daily routine writing lesson plans and preparing lecture materials. I love working with children! Making fun activities for children to do and allowing them to learn in a comfortable evinroment. Helping them grow up with postive sloution skills. I have worked with a family of 3 for over 4 years. I watched children from ages 1-14. I grew up babysitting my 2 brothers from a young age. I am still attending high school and would love to babysit children in my off time.

Intro this monologue takes place in a small town in Texas its about a family of three the father mother and daughter. The father lost his job and became an abusive alcoholic and the daughter had enough listen to it, then the next morin she is in the sheriff’s office and her mother in the hospital with the father in the morgue. (The daughter has heavy accent and I tried to put that into my words, so some words will not be spelled correctly.)

All those years of me getting aggravated cause my makeup, hairbrush, straightner, and hair products went missing, is cathcing up with Jeff. He never could understand why I would get so upset! My family and fellow co-workers have dubbed me the “baby whisperer.” I have a keen ability to soothe the fussiest, most demanding infants, which has proved to be a very useful skill in my current occupation as a childcare provider. Over the course of the last eight years, I have had the privilege to work with hundreds of children. While I hope that I have been able to make a positive impact on each of their lives, those same children and their parents will never realize the impact they have had on my life.

First of all, I am thanking you for considering me to be apart of your childcare team. I have a wonderful and charming personality and energy for children. And most importantly, every child that I have personally been with no matter how sweet and naughty they are I can get them to be the best child. Babysitting is a very important job; teenagers are out in this world having babies while never having the knowledge of taking care of an infant, toddler, or child, and they need to babysit at least once to know what a child is like, before having one of their own. Every child is different; you will never babysit one that’s the same, if babysitting siblings, never treat one any different than the other, love them both the same. Furthermore, babysitting should advance you in child care, especially when it comes to what career choice you choose.
