This affect the teenager in school, because affect the memory, cannot concentrate, this will end on poor performing, dropping out without graduation. Most of the teenager that used marijuana their parent not has idea what going with their young. Also this will be affecting their relation with their families, some come aggressive or depress. According to National Institute of Drug Abuse, students who smoke marijuana tend to get lower grades and are more likely to drop out of high school. In United State the teenager start work since of age fifteen in some place, but several studies have linked workers' marijuana smoking with increased absences, tardiness, accidents, and job turnover. The world is divided with different views in terms of young peoples’ involvement to activities or jobs that provide them payments in return. A part of the society believes that this is beneficial this youngsters in preparation to adulthood. In contrast, I fall for the idea that children should not get associated with a sort of salaried jobs.

Students in highschool know a days seem to be being employed more frequently. However I don’t agree with the employment of young teens. Although some may disagree jobs take time that teens should be spending on their education. If kids are too busy worrying on who can cover their shift instead of studying for that big test coming up. Amitai Etzioni argues in his article, “Working at McDonald’s”, fast-food restaurants just as McDonald’s, are not beneficial for teenagers in the long room. They don’t learn the correct skills that they have to in order to achieve in life. Such as skills like “self-reliant, work-ethics-drive, be productive teenagers" or have opportunities for entrepreneurship. The jobs that they are being hired at only consist of a twenty minutes or less training to get the job done. Besides the fact that they are not learning any useful skill, the jobs are taking over their school work. Which causes some teenagers to drop out of school instead.       Jobs are very time-consuming. If a teenager works and goes to school, he will probably not have time to join a gang or get into fights. Nowadays more and more employees are getting drug-tested at their jobs. If a teenager likes his job or needs to work, he will not do drugs because he will get fired. Furthermore, if a teenager receives a paycheck he will spend his earned money instead of stealing. A job can lead a teenager to a better lifestyle and a healthier life.

Students spend four years of their lives attending high school. Going through high school is mandatory as it prepares them for college and strength to face “the real world.” Having part-time jobs has become the phenomenon among high school students and many students follow this trend as well.
