Barack Obama has impacted America in many ways since he was elected the 44th president on November 4th, 2008. The first African American president of the United States has taken the world by storm and done many great things for this country. Barack Obama has accomplished many things in his personal life, and also as the president of the United States. Obama has affected the world financially, economically, and rebuilt our image as a nation.

Barack obama if famous for many things i'll explain some of the reason why. Barack Obama was the president for 8 years from 2009 to 2017. He’s famous for being one of the longest presidents running. In my opinion he was the most intelligent president we've ever had. Did you know that he has a nickname Barry? I picked Barack obama because he has been one of the best presidents of the United States of America. I also picked him because I wanted to know more about Barry.

He served there for three terms (1996-2004). Later on, he started his campaign in 2007 for the presidential election in 2008. He won the presidential election against John McCain, his Republican opponent and started serving in the office in January 20, 2009. He became the 44th President of The United States of America. He is more well-known for being the first African-American who ever served in The White House.

My favorite political memory was in October of 2008 because Senator Barack Obama came to Springfield and held a campaign rally. I went to the rally with my aunt and uncle and I was extremely excited despite the fact that it was held at a stadium and it was freezing outside. I sat very close to the stage and I was fortunate enough to meet Senator Obama and shake his hand after his speech was over. This was my favorite political memory because I met the future president and hearing his speech in person was so powerful and electrifying. It really made me interested in what he was saying.
