A young man with Bardet-Biedl syndrome helps protect an Iranian Immigrant from the authorities and his own bitter brother. BRIEF SYNOPSIS: LAWRENCE ADAMS (25) suffers from asthma and Bardet-Biedl syndrome. He refuses to leave the area around his house and meet people because he’s different and unique. He’s obsessed with his Polaroid camera. While taking pictures outside, he sees a white panel van skid into the farmer’s field, as they try to get away from the police. PAUL and EDDIE, smugglers, jump out of the van and they fling the doors open. Illegal Immigrants, including Iranian immigrant, MOJAN ATHARI (18), stare back. Lawrence refuses. He insists he’s the “heir.” Reece wants to return to Ibiza and get an apartment. They argue. Later, Lawrence finds Mojan. She’s hurt. He takes her into the house. He takes care of her. Immigration officers sweep the field. Mojan tells Lawrence she’s looking for her family in Manchester. She shows Lawrence her uncle’s address. He takes a picture of it. Mojan calls Lawrence “El Aurens.” When Reece returns home, he’s furious to see Mojan. He’s fearful that the immigration officers will arrest him. He also thinks Mojan could be a terrorist. Lawrence defends her, but Reece kicks her out of the house. Lawrence gets his money and belongings and goes with her. He has the address of her uncle in his camera. They travel to Manchester together. They find the address, but not her uncle. They search for him, but can’t find him. Reece, feeling guilty, finds the address of Mojan’s uncle on the floor. He grabs it and takes off. Mojan and Lawrence return to the address and are attacked by Paul and Eddie. Reece storms into the house and protects his brother and Mojan. They escape. Reece tells Mojan that she can stay with them until they find her
