Green and gold pulses through my veins. Not only do I know this, but so does everyone who has ever come in contact with me. When people see me, 97% of the time I am proudly wearing Baylor attire, from shoes all the way to hats. There has never been a question about where I want to attend college because I have always known Baylor is the perfect university for me.
Baylor has been a part of my family for generations. My grandparents met at a Baylor basketball game, my parents met at the Business school, my uncles and cousins graduated from Law School, and my sister graduated last year. As you can imagine, having a copious amount of alumni in the family has led to numerous visits to the Baylor campus. Every time I step on campus, I am surrounded by the warmth of loving The Baylor Family. Along with this, it is admirable

Ordinarily, most colleges do not have this firm foundation, so being able to surround myself in a community that will be supportive of my spiritual beliefs makes Baylor immensely more desirable
Baylor’s community not only draws me in, but so does its strong academics. I am the type of person that is constantly pushing myself to be better, may it be in my school studies or as a clarinet player in the band. My junior year of high school, I decided to take on the hardest task possible for the UIL solo competition: a master class solo. This means that I played the hardest solo that was on the list, and in this case, it was eight pages long and took about twenty- five minutes to play all the way through. Originally, I perceived the idea of me doing this as crazy, laughable even. Nevertheless, I decided to take on the challenge. The two months leading up to the competition consisted of practicing and perfecting my solo. Any second my directors had available I was there, playing and taking in their wise critiques. I
Including my spiritual experience at CBU, I will be able to understand my religion more. Including, that all the staff members being 100% Christian, I could ask a question that I may have and the could help me find an answer. Having to attend the school's chapel I know that I can get closer to God and understand his word, and be able to follow in his footsteps that will help me grow as an adult. With this spiritual growth from attending CBU, will be vast and helpful with me growing into a mature and responsible
Baylor is not as expensive as most schools and you can get a good education. Baylor has two schools. College of Medicine and just a Baylor University. I suggest the University because you can do whatever you want. Baylor has has athletics and more but online I saw that the people that went
Furthermore, being a part of this California Baptist University will bring me closer to God and strengthen my faith with him. Strengthening my faith with God will allow me to figure out how I can positively impact and influence others and help them see the good in life.
I thrive in smaller, yet motivated, environments where I am given the opportunity to reach my full potential, which is why I believe TCU would be a perfect fit for me. I am excited by the reputation of passionate and dedicated professors at TCU. I know that my professors at TCU will give their full attention to me and support me whether it be academically or in everyday life. Additionally, I find the TCU spirit captivating. I hope to try out for the TCU Show Girls if I have the honor of becoming a TCU Horned Frog.
The first day I visited, I went on a tour around the campus. Seeing the campus of Baylor, was huge but well-organized. I participated in the Christian Leadership Institute on the campus. This camp helped me understand how the campus of Baylor was and taught me life-long skills that I will never forget. During my time at camp, I have met some of closest friends that live all over the country. I felt that I could see myself at this university, compared to anywhere else. I felt as if there was no barrier between one person or another that stopped them from talking to one another. It was a bit daunting not knowing anyone at this camp, but after a week it all seemed to change. I had a different view of Baylor from the first to the last day I visited. Imagining of where I could be, Baylor is a university that I could see
Methodist University was one of my top five schools when I started to apply for school. There were three important aspects to why I chose to attend Methodist University. The most important part aspect of going to Methodist was the education part, along side with the men’s lacrosse program and my girlfriend.
Every college has a sense of school pride. But, what makes up Texas Christian University’s school pride? Texas Christian University has a very rich history, which contributes to the uniqueness of the school.
I chose to attend Xavier University for many reasons. Some reasons include: continuing my education route, receiving a unique education, and strengthening my Christian beliefs. Since a second grader, I’ve always wanted to become a pediatric dentist and attend Xavier. Although my journey became rough, and seemed impossible, I can finally say, “I am a freshman at Xavier University of Louisiana, and I know for a fact that attending Xavier will allow me to become the best pediatric dentist I can be!”
The University of North Carolina Wilmington gives a welcoming and home-like feeling to all who attend. Once I step foot on campus, it reminds me of the privilege I have of staying home. It has always been the college I've wanted to attend. The small and diverse community is what keeps me here in Wilmington, North Carolina and UNCW fulfills my dreams of not leaving. I find the mixture of races and gender to be essential in a community or school. It defines a person including their culture and allows everyone to be different from one another. It proves that we can all get along and work together to create greater changes as a whole; UNCW has that variety. However, not only does the diverse environment attract me, but so does the beautiful campus.
I choose to attend the University of Florida for the culture of community that exists on the campus. The University of Florida has always been a school that wants its students to succeed, but what is the most interesting aspect is that the students push each other together to achieve their goals. We live in a society where it is a "Man vs Man" world and that only one can succeed. Here at the University of Florida, we challenge those social norms and try to create a pathway that fits for everyone. Here, we just don't have dreams, because as gators, we make those dreams plans and those plans into reality. Being able to accomplish or do something that makes your life fulfilling is what made me want to come to the University of Florida and continue to give back to the place that gave me the chance to improve myself and help others improve too.
Texas Christian University, home of the horned frogs, is known for its exceptional medical department, and will give me a great education. Going to TCU will help me prepare for life after college and help me excel at my career.
My mother is an alum of Washington State University and obtaining a degree from the same school as her would be special to me. I have always been a cougar fan and will always will be. When WSU first announced their accreditation for a school of medicine I was extremely excited to apply. By attending Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, I would be able to return to the state where I grew up, give back to the community, and fulfill my dream of becoming a
I know that Texas Tech has a solid engineering program there, it will give me the opportunity and success to be a great Engineer in the future. Also not because my family is relocating to Lubbock that I fell in love with Texas Tech, it was your professors. Specifically speaking Dr. Jeff Hanson,
Upon graduating high school a large amount of my fellow students were well aware of which university and which degree they would wish to study and I was not one of those students. Up until recently I was also concerned that I would not be able to find a university that I would truly appreciate. Having toured multiple campuses throughout Texas and almost enrolling in Texas State I was worried I would resort to settling for a university that may not be right for me. My family and I were blessed when my father Alex Bielawski became a full time security officer for DBU. My father offered to visit the school for the first time and I immediately fell in love with it. The friendliness, the professionalism, and the holy presence on campus was truly
As a dedicated, hardworking, and energetic individual there are several qualities I could bring to the table at Baylor University. To name a few, I could be a great addition to the community service and involvement not only on campus, but in the Waco metropolitan area, because I’m passionate about giving back. My experience in community service throughout my life includes a local service club, Changemakers, my school’s Leo club where I volunteered to make props for my town’s Christmas festival, at concessions in several elementary school fairs, and running our school’s recycling program, shows that I work hard to serve my community. Another quality I could bring to Baylor is my energy. I enthusiastically and passionately commit to everything
