Royalton High School follows a 7 period day schedule, 50 minutes class periods, typically 5 days a week beginning at 8:15am and ending at 3:22pm. A regularly scheduled day consists of seven four minute passing periods and a 15 minute homeroom at the end of the day. Homeroom is not considered as a scheduled class, and even though it is not required, it is still beneficial to many students. The sole purpose of homeroom is to inform students of extracurricular activities, scholarships and college visits, the announcements, and reduce class absences.

I believe that Polk County Early College High School would be a great school for me because of smaller class sizes and more one on one opportunity with teachers. I feel that I thrive in that kind of setting because you can feel free to ask for help if needed, and it will be provided much more easily than in a larger class room. I also love the opportunity that the school provides to be able to earn college credits while attending high school. I am a very self motivated person and being able to complete work at my own pace would be significant. If I am working at my own pace I will be given the chance to work ahead and cover more material which is great. There were plenty of memories in high school. Just making it to high school was a good memory. Most of them were during my freshman, sophomore, and junior years.

Early College High School at Delaware State University is a place to save time and money, and earn up to at least 60 college credits in high school. If I were to describe ECHS in one sentence, I would say that they move very quickly, but are very helpful. Although this school is very helpful there is a downfall, that downfall is that they are unorganized. One thing that made my 9th grade year here at The Early College High School at Delaware State University more smoothly was that some of my teachers had a sense of humor which made the environment feel a lot more positive and it made me feel comfortable that this school isn’t severely strict. Attending Cross Creek Early College High School is interesting to me because I will be able to complete high school and some college courses at the same time. I have always dreamed of going to college and this is school will allow me to get a head start on my goals and ambitions. My goal is to be the first person in my family to attend and graduate from college with a bachelor’s degree. Here you need to explain your career goal or what you want to major in. 1. Timing. What i mean by timing is have a set time to check your bloodsugar even if you arent eating or drinking anything. What happens is that you leave your blood sugar alone till you get something with carbs. That doesnt work you have to constantly check in on it. For example i Check my blood sugar whne i wake up, lunch time, dinner time, 9:30, and mid night. Remember you can set the time whenever you like although your doctor should have already told you to check your blood sugar and medacate before eating.

Interactions between groups of people at sports events, especially on college campuses, have a large presence and seem to bring groups of people together. Some people let tragedies that they experience affect them in different ways, some are drawn to some sort of release such as drugs and alcohol. I, however, choose to let my life tragedies shape me into who I am today. I have been faced with death in which one of my favorite people in the world was taken from me, my former drug addict of an uncle was faced with the consequences of his decisions, and my grandpa was looked in the eye by a stroke he a had shown different symptoms of. I have chosen to let these misfortunes shape me instead of affect me negatively.

It was just the other day that I learned that some of my childhood experiences are partly if not solely, responsible for my current disposition as a young adult. In fact, it would be a daunting task to single out an experience that has been profound to me. That is not to say that my childhood was without its fair share of downs. As a matter of fact, my younger years were characterized by a series of events that seemed to have worked out simultaneously towards almost shaping my future. Some of them were positive while others were devastating. Unfortunately, the negative encounters appear to take the better part of my memory. Well, I do not regard myself as a pessimist, but I have come to discover that often, dark events cloud the lighter ones. And since life is a process, as opposed to an event, I will make a recollection of some of the happenings that marked my childhood; experiences which, albeit negative, shaped the person I am today.
