Dr. Ben Carson’s philosophy,THINK BIG, and ideas are important. These impact life greatly. The most important ones are recognizing your talents, living an honest life, and being kind. Recognizing your talents is top priority. Once someone knows their talent, they can perfect it, which will lead to success. Ben Carson realized he had good hand-eye coordination, which helped him during surgery. With that point,he also discovered his love of science when he was young, by reading and identifying rocks, and it led him to a science-filled future. Honesty is the best policy, so it is vital to have an honest life. Ben Carson was the last person in the room during the exam hoax, and by showing honesty, he was rewarded with ten dollars when he needed

Ben Carson’s knowledge has given him success that before he never dreamed of having .Although,he worked very hard to be where he is today. He didn’t just have book-based knowledge but also knowledge about life.Throughout his life he had a lot of problems, but he had realized something. It doesn’t matter what clothes you wear or how much money you have, anyone can accomplish anything.
Dr. Ben Carson is the best candidate for the United States of America. His plans for fixing America are greater than all of the other candidates. Carson’s plans will fix all of the problems started by Obama over the last few years. The mistakes that Obama made will not happen under his leadership. He is campaigning during a difficult time for the United States, but he won’t give up on his goal of fixing America.
Ben Carson, exemplified these qualities of perseverance, dedication, and education. She had only a third grade education and was unlettered, yet she continued to push Dr. Carson and his brother far beyond her limits. She could have easily said that there was no hope for them. They were going to follow in her footsteps, to not place importance on education, and to rely on the welfare system as means of living. Yet, despite the ease and simplicity of this solution, Sonya Carson decided she was going to provide the best she could for her sons. This was exceptionally hard, just as is education in lower income schools. To break the barrier and cycle is difficult, yet possible. She, just like others need to do, pushed her kids as far as they could go, giving no excuses or pity on their situation. She encouraged success, which bred success. Eventually, as one can easily see now, the cycle has been broken, and the poverty is no more, all due to the importance placed on education to get them to the places they could only dream of
The trick to success is not talent it is passion, nobody is naturally talented enough to be outstanding, the only way to stand out is with practice and the only motivation to practice is passion. A large sum of people does not search for a career that they love, instead they search for a career with a large salary, by choosing the first path people can raise a great deal of money by doing better than the rest.
Drucker (2005) states that one of the most important things a person should do is to self-evaluate. They need to look internally and try to determine what their true strengths are. Often, the skill set to which a person is born will be what they assume that they are best at and consequently people often misidentifying what their strengths are. The best way to understand what you are really best at is to get feedback from other people (Drucker 2005, page 2). A person can also provide feedback for themselves provided they
People have many hidden talents that are only discovered when absolutely necessary, and these talents can actually prove to be advantageous later in life. If you must adapt to a circumstance by strengthening
It is common to hear the notion that some people have specific gifts when they were born, and the others do not have. However, we can also see the argument that every child could become professionals in every area. My view is that it is of truth that some individuals are inherently born gifted in some fields, but this may not be the only reason to gain greatness. Others can also develop skills in fields as such music or sports through training and practices.

ything through knowledge. People often take learning and being wise for granted, but even the greatest players had to know the game to become what they are today.
Think Big is Dr. Ben Carson’s philosophy of life and his personal blueprint for success. He uses it in any and every circumstance he can, even if it does not seem like it. The letters stand for talent, honesty, insight, nice, knowledge, books, in-depth learning, and God. For myself, however, the most important ideas are honesty, knowledge, and God. These are the most reliable concepts that will get one farther in life.
Ben Carson made things easier in his life by a formula called THINK BIG. Each one of those letters mean something. There was three important letters that stood out to me. The most important letters that stood out to me were H for honesty, N for nice, and K for knowledge.
Normally, everybody will have something that they are good at, so it’s just a matter of time before they know themselves, which things they will be loved or become an expert. Becoming good at something can generate many advantages for their life, such as earn money from it or become famous.
God can and will help in so many different ways. Ben was talking about God when he said to pray about it and it would be okay. God helped Ben guide his hands during the surgeries on page 73, when Miranda Francisco was having uncontrollable seizures. Ben had to remove part of her brain in order to stop the seizures, and God let her talk, play and other miraculous things that other kids with a part of a brain missing couldn't really do. Ben also talks about God in his THINK BIG presentation. On page 140 He said that the last letter of THINK BIG means God and that he does miraculous things to all of us, and that we are not allowed to talk about God but you see God everywhere, like on Money. Dr. Carson believed in God and so God guided his hands through all of the surgeries that he had done
for me, these talents are represented through my top five strengths that were given to me from a test I took. Two of my signature strengths that I think best fit me and are the ones that will help me be successful are Competition and Analytical. Competition by definition is when someone measures their progress against the performance of others, they also strive to win first place and revel in contests. Growing up playing competitive sports at a young age is what I believe led me to be in the competitor I am now. I think my Competition strength not only best describes me but, it may also be my best feature that I can tie into to my daily life to reach success and the goals I have set forth. Being competitive got me where I am today. I’ve be running for nearly my whole life, this year makes 11 years that I have been running track and cross country and it has truly paid off for me in the biggest ways. I think that having the competitive nature will always help down the line in life. When having the competitive nature my talent is valuable because it will influence and even push people in a group to achieve more than others. I will also bring energy to a group and will be capable of energizing others to move to higher levels of excellence. Also, being competitive also gives me capability of adaptation go different obstacles of life. It often applies to the class room such as seeking out highly competitive people and study with them. You will know that you will push each other to learn more, faster. Because of hardships and challenges I have faced during my running career I feel as if I will be prepared well enough for anything coming fast at a me in life, which will also help me achieve success in the
