Due to the events that happened throughout history, the world that we see today has changed from what the world was like several years ago; yet, it is still constantly evolving. As one of the great figures in America’s history, Benjamin Franklin’s approach in the thinking process continues to influence many American citizens. Out of all of the founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin in my opinion is the one who had the greatest impact on our nation and still has a great influence on our nation today. Mostly people are familiar with Benjamin Franklin from his head being on the front of the 100 dollar bill, but there’s more to him than just his face being on the 100 dollar bill. He made a huge impact on us and not everyone realizes it, but that’s how he made it on the 100 dollar bill. Not only was Benjamin Franklin apart of founding our nation, he was also scientist, diplomat, businessman, and philosopher. Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17th, 1706 in Boston, Massachusetts to soap maker Josiah Franklin and his second wife Abigail Folger. Benjamin Franklin was apart of a big family and he was the 10th child out of 16 siblings. His siblings names were Jane Mocum, James Franklin, Anne Harris, Joseph Franklin I, Samuel Franklin, Sarah Davenport, Mary Holmes, Hannah Cole, Josiah Franklin Jr, Ebenzer Franklin, Peter Franklin, Thomas Franklin, John Franklin, Lydia Scott, Elizabeth Douse, and Joseph Franklin II. When he grew up he became the only man to sign “the Declaration of Independence (1776), the Treaty of the Alliance with France (1778), the Treaty of Paris establishing peace with Great Britain (1783) and the U.S. Constitution (1787)”(history.com). All of four of these documents help establish America, and he helped with each of them. Benjamin Franklin was an influential figure in United States History, and it all starts with the first Continental Congress.

He was not born into royalty like a lot of famous individuals, in fact, “he was the tenth son of a soap and candle maker” ( The Electric Ben Franklin ). Benjamin was Born in Boston city the year 1706. He had received a small portion of formal education but most of his learning was self taught because his father, Josiah Franklin, could not afford to send him to school. Around the age of 11 when Benjamin was done serving as an apprentice to his father, he began working for his half brother James who was a decent printer. In 1721 Benjamin created the New England Courant, or the fourth newspaper in the colonies. Not only did he create this lovely piece of art, but he secretly slipped in 14 of his own essays being his first published work.

He not only shared his perspectives with the world, but he shared his discoveries, as well.
I am writing to say that I Think Benjamin Franklin was the most influential in our history. Benjamin Franklin was the tenth son of soap maker, Josiah Franklin. Benjamin Franklin's life was part of being one of United States founding fathers who drafted the declaration of independence and the constitution of the United States. Benjamin Franklin also had something's that he liked so he invented it. He taught himself five languages but was not fluent in them.

Franklin was always curios about they way things work, and he always tried to find ways to make them work better. Even though he started out as a published, he was always interested in science.
