Bernie Sanders Effectiveness

The 2016 Presidential Campaign candidate, Bernie Sanders, believes in creating a better America. In proving to the American people, rich and poor, how great the country can be if all people vote for who is trusted best as future President of the United States. The political figures in government care about money and wealth, not the people. Bernard Sanders would be the best choice for President for the main reason that he is concerned about the issues in America that create inequality for the people. The issues addressed by this candidate will create social and economic equality.

A vote for Bernie Sanders is a vote for free education, reasonably paying jobs, and universal healthcare. [I need to add another sentence right here]. There are many reasons why Bernie Sanders is the best candidate for president based on his policies on college, jobs, and healthcare.

When you hear the word “Democratic Socialist”, who pops up in your mind? Most people probably think of Bernie Sanders. He is an amazing Democratic Socialist, but what was it that helped him make it up to his point? What is his life story? How would the world be without him? What is his personality? Because we all know you don’t just wake up and become an extraordinary Democrat and presidential candidate.

In this argumentative essay we are debating who would make the best presidential candidate. In my opinion, Bernie Sanders will make the best presidential candidate because he cares deeply about the people and is the oldest candidate, therefore has the most experience. He also has a passion for improving the lives of the American people.

I believe Bernie Sanders is the best for the presidential position because he wants to help immigrants who are undocumented here and will do better for this country. He is a flared candidate who has an important message to the people, record free of evildoing and corruption. No other candidate has the credibility Bernie has on economy. For decades no one has paid attention to the American economy when it rigged in favor of the billionaire class at the expense of everyone else. Now people are finally picking their heads up and listening. Love him or hate him, everyone knows Sanders has integrity.

I chose Bernie sanders as the candidate that I would vote for. A couple of issues that I care about that Sanders also stands for are healthcare for all and same-sex marriage. Sanders position on everyone being able to have healthcare is supportive. In an interview with Ezra Klein of Vox, Sanders responded with, “Health care, to my mind, is a right of all people. That's what I believe. I think every man, woman, and child is entitled to health care”(1). He believes that healthcare should not be something that we have to qualify and fight for but that it should be our right to have good healthcare. He made a point by saying that despite having the affordable care act, we still have so many people that are still uninsured and underinsured while our country is paying almost double what any other nation faces (2). Sanders is for healthcare for all because he believes it’s our right to it despite our income and not be discriminated against for reasons such as our gender or previous health issues. He believes we shouldn’t be discriminated against just because we might have had a health issue that the insurance companies consider a higher risk of needing help later, which would mean

right now and Bernie Sanders is going to help the world out by making health care a single-payer government, that means that the government sponsors the health care. Bernie states that the states without Obama Care right now, are going to need to figure out an overall budget for that state and will have to set it on their own (Desjardins). Another major major issue in the US right now is taxes and how the government is handling taxes in the US is not a good way to be handling the taxes. Bernie is going to make it cheaper for the middle class and poor class people to pay taxes (Klien). For the rich class people however, Sanders is going to make taxes more expensive.

Senator Sanders plans to give each citizens access to universal healthcare so no citizen will be denied health and medicine. Throughout his political career he voted yes and no on bills going through Senate and he voted each time on bills that expanded healthcare or made it more affordable. He plans on taxing the rich at higher rates, same taxes from resolving the income inequality, and set forth a system of taxing through the stock system that will create billions over the course of a year (). These new taxes would benefit the middle and lower class because they would finally be able to receive healthcare that many of the poor have had to previously live without. New taxes sound like a bad thing, but in Bernie’s plans it would only affect corporations and the top 10%. These new taxes wouldn’t affect the average taxpayer in anyway resulting in more money out of your paychecks, but would affect them by giving them and every citizen free healthcare despite any poor financial

Politics is a very important thing that runs one of the greatest countries, which is the U.S.A. In this year 's Presidential Election the main candidates are Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump, and Hilary Clinton. Bernie Sanders is the best choice for America. Bernie Sanders was born in 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated in the University of Chicago. Bernie believed in Civil Rights and was part of CORE(Congress of Racial Equality). He participated in the March on Washington. Bernie became the mayor of Burlington, Virginia in 1981 and served for four terms until 1989. In 1990 he made it to the U.S. House of Representatives until 2007. In 2015 he announced he would run for Democratic presidential nomination. He now competes against the Republican Donald Trump. He is a better candidate because he believes in racial justice, combating climate change, and a fair immigration policy.

The egalitarian crusader of equal education has made this one of his main platforms in the race for the 2016 Presidential Election, running against big names like Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. He is an unorthodox choice, but has become a contender in the race to the White House. Sanders fights for civil rights and challenges the status quo against big-money and Wall Street, making him a likable underdog.

One controversial issue with the senator’s policies is how his bills are going to be passed. If Bernie Sanders were elected, his bills would not make it through the Republican majority congress that is in the United States today. The only option that he is left with is to campaign for a democratic congress; however, “Sanders should be out campaigning for progressive candidates for House and Senate across the country in Democratic primaries, and would need to campaign hard this fall to defeat dozens of Republican incumbents across the country” (Caffrey). In the words of Matt Caffrey, “he hasn’t done any of that.”

Raising the federal minimum wage and decreasing in low-wage immigrant labor are on his agenda. He stood with Obama’s action of protecting many illegal immigrants from being deported, but Sanders believes that the low-wage immigrant labor is causing unemployment among the youth. However, getting rid of low-wage immigrant labor may put many others out of work. The best solution would be to create more jobs and get more people employed like Obama has been doing and it will make the economy would be more stable to avoid the unemployment rates during 2008.
