Ever wanted to see the cleanest locker ever? I am giving the “Cleanest Locker Award” to my superb friend Alessandro. He spends huge amounts of time on his locker. His locker is never unorganized and if it is he fixes it very quickly. Alessandro is never late to any of his classes because everything is in order. His locker is the only thing that is organized all the rest of his school supplies are everywhere. If it isn't in his locker it is gone forever. Alessandro's locker, the cleanest locker on Earth is receiving this award because he has labels on his locker, everything is in class order, and he has his homework in one spot.
He labels his locker and separates it. He separates everything in his locker. He separates his binders in the mornings
Impatiently waiting for my friends to pick me up, I spot, across the room, my bulletin board. Leaning up against the wall, slips of paper, I thought were important enough to remember, are pinned up, overlapping each other. Ordinarily, I would walk right by, however, I stopped to take a glance.
behind that cabinet is another identical cabinet, except this cabinet is filled top to bottom with towels. Yellow, ripped, color stained towels that have been used by the Career Center for who knows how long. Following around the corner on the outside of the teacher’s office is another counter that has the nail polish rack, and underneath it in all the cabinets hand sanitizer, pedicure products, and other miscellaneous nail care
Melinda in the janitor’s closet can get away from bullies. She can get away from harassments about her calling the cops at a drinking party. Or she can get away from bullies who laugh at her at lunch. This closet symbolizes the safety that keeps her away from her old friends or harsh people. There is one big bully, the king of all bullies.
Where do you enjoy eating? That restaurant down the street since it’s so close? Or do you drive a little out of the way for good food and fresh ingredients? Do you go where there is good service? Or do you dine based on your mood and the atmosphere and ambiance?
Royalton High School follows a 7 period day schedule, 50 minutes class periods, typically 5 days a week beginning at 8:15am and ending at 3:22pm. A regularly scheduled day consists of seven four minute passing periods and a 15 minute homeroom at the end of the day. Homeroom is not considered as a scheduled class, and even though it is not required, it is still beneficial to many students. The sole purpose of homeroom is to inform students of extracurricular activities, scholarships and college visits, the announcements, and reduce class absences.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) lockbox facilities allow the USCIS to receive forms quickly and process payments efficiently and securely.
Although random locker searches invade student's privacy or violate civil rights, it could insure the safety of the student that has the locker and it insures the safety of the other students. Someone could make sure that there is not a gun or knife in the locker. It makes sure that there are no drugs hidden in the locker.
Not only am I a part of Best Buddies, Best Buddies is a part of me. In my sophomore year, I joined one of the organizations I am most passionate about, Best Buddies. It has become one of my biggest dedications and one of the reasons I am who I am today. The goal of Best Buddies is to create a friendship between a student with an intellectual developmental disability and one without. For my buddy, Nic, and I, this goal has been successful.
All of our lives, we've been told to stay organized. Organization has always been linked to success and less stress. Whether at home or at school organization is something that has been taught to almost everyone since we were born. So which is better? A clean room or a messy room. Some would say that a clean room is better than a messy room. I disagree with that statement. While a clean room does have it's advantages a messy room helps you flourish in mind and soul. Sure, the state of your room may represent how your mind works but disorderliness isn't always bad. There are 2 types of messy: cluttered or just dirty. While clutter shows personality and possibly creativity, a dirty room is very negative and is not helpful in any way. Disorderly rooms looks bad to the people who don't own them but the people who made it that way feel at home when in their room. Consider this from Albert Einstein, “If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, then what are we to think of an empty desk?” He looked unkempt and was reportedly messy in his personal life, but was certainly a creative genius. Einstein wasn't alone. Mark Twain, too, had a cluttered desk. Perhaps even more cluttered than that of Albert Einstein. Mark Twain was one of the most imaginative minds of his generation. One university got a bunch of students to sleep in specific rooms half messy and half clean. After a few days in the dorms the research conductors asked the students to give ideas on how to decorate a ping
A long, white corridor is lined with students either side of it. The floor is a light blue vinyl which is heavily scored into and marked black in places. Towards the end of the corridor is a dark blue, three tear bag rack lined with bag packs. The students themselves are all wearing a dark navy uniform which consists of a jumper, slacks and a light blue shirt. To the right of the bag rack closest to the door is DANNY (16, A large student with a dark complexion having black hair and brown eyes which play off browned reddish skin)
(The scene opens on a school hallway. Lockers line one side. They are split in half: there is one locker on top, and one on the bottom. There is a group of high school girls talking and giggling next to the lockers. Ella Clark is one of the girls, and she is opening a locker on top, while talking to another girl. Enter Dahlia White. She kneels down at one of the lockers on the bottom, and starts to open it.)
It all started when my group of friends and I stumbled in to locker in the basement near the boiler. We had been in the basement hundreds of times before, as it was our hangout spot. Never have we ever seen a locker in the basement and we were very curious about what could be inside the locker. We opened up the locker and we found a baseball glove, 17 cents: 1978 dime, 1979 nickel, 1986 & 1994 pennies, an Aiden Bowman phys.ed T-shirt, computer disc, some cough candies, a pair of baseball cleats, Roots of Society text, chap stick, and finally, a hair brush.
Part of my identity is that I always have to have my things nicely organized and when my things aren’t organized it bothers me. I find that when I’m not organized I misplace everything and I have a terrible memory so it’s difficult for me to recall where I left whatever I misplaced. In order to avoid this, I keep myself as organized as possible. Being organized is a bit hard when it comes to sharing a room with Jenna, who is NOT organized at all.
Fred is a very organized person. I found out about this when I saw his locker. He used what he had, and was organized with it.
Sheyenne High School is a safe place to go to school but this is not the case in a lot of the schools in our nation. I believe parents, teachers and students are in agreement that a school needs to be a safe place where students can focus on school work and socialize without the fear of being bullied or being harassed. However, there is some disagreement as to the best policies for making a school safe. Locker searches are one tool schools have to ensure that students are following school policies, but they are not without drawbacks.
