Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) is an organization established in 1953 by the State of Wisconsin to provide residential and short-term treatment to people with intellectual disabilities. Bayview Center CHSLD is an English based long-term care that facility in the West Island on Bord-du-Lac that provides rehabilitative, restorative, and skilled nursing care for residents. The Center was created in 1956 by the Samatas family, presently it takes 128 residents in four different units, each unit having 32 residents.
