Our biome is the desert. We will have to live by an oasis, because that is where a big pond of water is. Water can help us so that it can provide habitat for animals and even humans. The area is big enough to let a river go through there. We will have to dig a way so that the water can travel through a tunnel without getting stuck, and prevent the water from getting on the land and wrecking our house that we built and all that hard work will go to waste. Why we have to protect our troops is because if we had a big sand storm then we will have to make some shelter so that we don't die. We will make gates that allow us to survive the desert and prevent the zombies from eating us. The zombies do need to have medicine so That we can heal them
A biome is a large area or habitat that occupies the earth. Animals, plants along with flora and fauna occupy biome habitats. They cleverly adapt to their environment and geographical location. The area that I have chosen to research are the Flinders Ranges. The Flinders Rangers are in South Australia, covering 37,000 square kilometres. The biome expands from Crystal Brook in the south to Mount Hopeless in the north. There are several main general features associated with this semi-arid biome. It has landforms that are above sea level. The biome has high mountain ranges with summits reaching 900 metres. The area has steep gorges, cliffs, ridges and plateaus. The biome edges have grasslands and foothills which contain creeks, gorges, valleys,
The alpine biome is a biome high in the mountains with trees, rivers, lakes and etc. This the biome where the Himalayas, the Rockies, the Andes, and even Mount Everest! But now because of human actions, some animals are now endangered. You will learn a lot about the alpine when you finish reading this.
This biome is large community of plants and animals..Also, biomes, such as the forest, freshwater, and marine, may have more consequences . The most imports biomes are the freshwater and marine because those biomes help us get water to drink and for the crops and the marine biome is also important the study of the between people and the physical environment of the sea.
Since Freshwater biomes are found all over the world, the types of plants and animals that live in these waters can be different. Some examples of plants that may inhabit a Freshwater biome are grass, spike rush, water lilies, cattail, and sometimes trees. Most plants living in these waters are not recognized by humans. Animals that live in these biomes are frogs, turtles, snakes, fish, and sometimes alligators. Insects like mosquitos also inhabit these biomes greatly. Animals such as raccoons and earthworms live on the land surrounding the biome, but depend on the biome to survive. Some animals, such as beavers, live in both the water and the land surrounding it. Algae also plays a big role in a Freshwater biome ecosystem.
A biome is a large geographical area of distinctive plant and animal groups, which are adapted to that particular environment. The climate and geography of a region determines what type of biome can exist in that region. Major biomes include deserts, forests, grasslands, tundra, and several types of aquatic environment. As can see on the topography map, The Goulburn has two Biomes:-
In the possible occurrence of a zombie apocalypse, certain measures involving shelter, food, weapons, and fitness should be taken to better the chances of survival in such a desperate situation. Throughout the years, movies, television shows, and other miscellaneous hype have heightened a large number of people’s suspicion about the possibility of disease-ridden humans taking over the world. In reality, that atrocity is not exactly far-fetched. With so many vaccines and medicines being mass produced without the sufficient steps taken to test the results, the chance of humans contracting unimaginable side effects is a rational possibility. If
First, the living vs. the zombies have an overwhelming conflict with the zombies trying to eat the living in all. The living have to find food, water, ammo and shelter to stay alive. On the general’s
A biome is several communities in one specific area - a large scale ecological unit recognized primarily by its dominant plant type and vegetation structure. Temperature and precipitation can predict the type of biome that forms on a
The tundra biome is the coldest and harshest biome in the world. For most of the year the tundra is snow covered with an average temperature of -30 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and 37 to 54 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. The yearly average rainfall is 6 to 10 inches due to all the melting snow that covers this biome. The tundra is usually treeless and can be found in the artic and the tops of mountains. Sedges, reindeer moss, liverworts, grasses, foliose lichen, and crustose are all plants that live in the tundra. To survive some plants must use photosynthesis at colder temperatures. Plants use a shallower root system to combat the effects of permafrost, they also change their reproductive process because of the short growing season.
My biome is the Taiga. One place the Taiga can be found is Oslo,Norway. Some abiotic factors in the Taiga are rain, sunlight, soil, temperature, and wind. Some biotic factors are moose, black bears, wolves, moss, and pine trees. Those abiotic and biotic factors interact a lot. There are four levels of organization. They are species, population, community, and ecosystem. An ecosystem is all the biotic and abiotic factors in a specific place. An example of a ecosystem in the Taiga is spruce trees, pine trees, mushrooms, owls, and bears. Those are only a few of the abiotic and biotic factors that make up the Taiga.
Imagine being trapped inside a common video game that tests your survival Minecraft! There’s so many biomes you could live in how would you survive in all of those biomes? Such as, the jungle, forest, rain forest, snow biome, plains, great hills and sand biome. There’s so many choose the right one that fits you. All the biomes have supplies that can help you survive
The term desert is strongly connected to the image of an extremely harsh environment void of any life. The sand dunes at the Gulf of California would fit this description of a desert biome, but for large parts the Sonoran Desert has a stunning array of different organisms.
The military protects us and keeps our country safe without them we don’t have and body to guard or save us in
A biome, also known as life zones, consists of all plants, animals, and other organisms, as well the physical environment in a particular area. A biome is characterized by its’ plant life, climate, and location. The climate and physical features determine the boundaries of a biome. A biome is made up of many different ecosystems. The ecosystems tend to have the same pants and animals as neighboring biomes around the boundaries. The major biomes are the tundra, taiga, tropical rain forest, temperate forests, desert, grassland, savanna, chaparral, and marine. Each biome has it’s own characteristics such as the tundra.
Biomes are all over the world, that’s why they are considered the “world’s major communities.” Biomes are large areas scattered around the earth, filled with animals and plants acclimating to their environments. You can classify biomes in many different ways, by their climate, their biodiversity, human activity, their animals and plants, and their habitats. There are only five conspicuous types of biomes, Grassland, Tundra, Desert, Aquatic, and forest. Without biomes, the earth would be unbalanced. Throughout the years, we have cause a lot of damage towards our earth, such as causing pollution, and abolishing natural habitats. If we continue living like this, there might be more serious or severe implications on the biomes. Knowing that we share the world with so many other species of plants and animals, we should consider the consequences of our actions.
