Brick Assignment “You’ve got one go in life, so make the most of it,” is a quote said by Richard Branson. However, Richard originally heard this quote from his grandmother ever since he was young. These words meant so much to him as they go right to the heart if his belief in making it on your own. He struggled with dyslexia through school, but he stuck to his grandmothers’ advice and made the most of his life. He became the founder of the Virgin Company and holds the record for the fastest person to cross the Atlantic Ocean by boat. I came across this quote in grade five when I did a speech on Richard Branson himself. This quote has stuck with me ever since. This quote has not only inspired Richard but has also inspired me. The first picture is confetti. The confetti represents a party or staying out late with your friends. Being teenagers, we are forced with making the decision to go out with our friends or stay in and do work. Most times we go out with our friends as we know we would regret it if we did not. We make memories and make the most of our night even though it means doing all of the work the next day. The next picture is a hot air balloon. This represents how Richard Branson took these words to his heart and is making the most out of his life. He has travelled to Hawaii, Japan and over the Atlas Mountains, all by hot-air balloon. He was also the first person to cross the Pacific Ocean in a hot-air balloon. He is truly making the most of his life through his amazing travels. On the contrary, you do not need to travel to make the most of your life. The final symbol of the paper airplane represents this. A lot of people think you need to travel to make the most out of your life, although it will be a great experience, you do not need to in order to make the most of your life. You can go out to dinner with friends or get the job you always wanted. By doing those things you can easily make the most out of your
The second image is called “The Awakening of the Third Estate,” which is a representation of the attack on Bastille in July 14, 1789. This picture shows a figure of a man on the ground portraying the Third Estate. The Third Estate is being awakened from the nightmare of the Old Regimen as he reaches for his weapons. The other two figures in the picture standing over the Third Estate are symbolizing Nobility and Clergy. They are in shock from this awakening and are in the process of retreating with an alarming disposition. In the background are buildings in ruins from the destruction of the French Revolution revolts. It also displays spikes with the heads of enemies on the tops used for parades. This display was to inform the people that there
Many people forget what this quote means. I think the quote means that even when you think you have achieved the impossible, you still find yourself trying to achieve the impossible. Many of Charles Lindbergh’s quotes make him an important aviator because of how the quote inspire you. Charles Lindbergh was born on February 4, 1902 in Detroit, Michigan. His parents were Evangeline Lodge Lindbergh and Charles August Lindbergh.
“Life is a journey that must be traveled no matter how bad the roads and accommodations.” - Oliver Goldsmith
For some travelling can be a way to escape it all and even find love.
In order for someone to reach their destination they have to go on a trip or journey. One question that has been debated is if the journey is more important than the destination. Some people say that there is no point in going on a journey if someone doesn’t have a destination. The idea that the journey is more important than the destination is true because in the journey it is possible to meet new people, view new things, and make friends.
“Life includes unforeseen incidents that prove critical to promote personal growth. Life rarely gives us what we want. We are lucky if life gives us what we need in order to fulfill the path that was in place at our birthing.” ― Kilroy J. Oldster, Dead Toad Scrolls. People will go through the journey of life. The life is not a destination but a journey. As people go through, they learn, experience, and gain. The journey of the life matters because the people can earn experiences and those experience makes people better.
”Life should be an exciting adventure. It should never be a bore. A man should live fully, be alive. He should be glad to get out of the bed in the morning. He should be doing a job that he likes because he does it well.”
“Enjoy the journey and do whatever is in front of you the best that you can.”
“What man believes and does determine the results he gets! But some may say, ‘That may be very good theory but it doesn 't work out in actual life. I 've always done the best I could but things don 't go right for me. I 'm not one of the lucky ones!’”
Charles Augustus Lindbergh, or Slim to his close friend, was a simple airmail pilot who gained world fame for his record-breaking flight across the Atlantic. He is often considered the greatest aviator of all time, and using his fame, has played a large role in the development promotion of aviation and even space travel.
The way I see it,life is like a camera, focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don’t work out, take another shot. This quote means that life is full of surprises and opportunities, you should always put the things that are most important to you ahead, always live your life the way you wanted to,learn from your mistakes, and if things don’t seem so bright just learn from it and start anew.During my life I have had so many good times and also made many mistakes on the way but that won’t bring me down. Let’s take a moment to reflect on my life and what shaped me into becoming the smart and charming individual I am today.
Charles Lindbergh led an amazing long life that was full of danger, bravery and mechanical genius. He dodged death all through life, starting with a fire at three to flying zero’s of the Second World War. Charles knew he wanted to fly from the age of ten and followed his dreams after realizing his heart wasn 't in graduating from college and he started work at an airplane factory, where he learned to fly after that he started the practice of barnstorming, or wing-walking and parachuting. Everyone of that day and age viewed him as suicidal for doing that but he had done the acts in exchange of piloting lessons. He once said “If I could fly for ten years before I was killed in a crash it would be a worthwhile trade for an ordinary
This quote simplifies many things. For instance, if I go to college and study a career that I am not interested in, it will literally waste an enormous amount of my time. It isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it can definitely be a life experience that other people don’t get to live. There are people out there in the world who have no other option than working at their job. For example this can be due to migration, lack of transportation, or anything that is a huge external situation.
Secondly, this quote has lifelike values attributed to it. In everyday life, one must go
Life is a complicated twist of suffering, laughing, and learning all merging to tell a great story - or great many stories. Based on this view, "it is not the end goal or outcome of life that gives life meaning but rather the quality of the story, the quality with which one lives out and develops his or her role."
