This is one of the most difficult student positions to hold and to perform well, and still have a social life. As a RA you are called on to do a mutilate of tasks that need to be done in a certain amount of time, while at the same time you are still a student, and still hold college experience. As an Resident Assistant you hold many responsibilities, and held accountable for so many other people during the time you are shaping your own education. By far being an RA, a student, a person who can make bad decision at times and a sociable being is one of the greatest challenges you will face during your life as an RA here at Delaware State University. RA's act as the supervisors (Mother Hen, or Pops) of their floor/wing or apartment unit and gain valuable experiences that will exercise their organization, leadership, supervisory methods, crisis management, and peer counseling skills in the area of conflict resolution. All of these experiences you will gain as an RA are experience that you can use for a lifetime, and use as an example for any other situation that may arise in the
Standard G – The Team was unable to confirm that the data on the Professional Review Form has been aggregated across the program to inform programmatic changes; the collection and analysis is necessary to meeting the standard for evaluation.
All the companies in the class started together in year 2015 with equal financials and market share as shown above.
Serving as a Resident Assistant is a position that requires leadership. This campus needs more leadership from students. There is a lack of energy in this school. Events are put on, and are organized well, but there is no leadership from students to show up or to announce them. As an RA, I would make sure everyone in my hall knows about upcoming events. This is important because the more people who know, the more will show up. Once students begin to show up to events, the more unity we have as a culture.
Resident Assistants at Marist College are extremely important, as they act as role models, mentors, representations of the college itself, and ultimately friends to their residents. They aid in the adjustment of students to their new dorm and provide advice to their peers in all aspects of college life including but not limited to social and academic acclimation. Resident Assistants have numerous tasks to perform daily and much responsibility; the most important being to make sure that all residents are safe and happy. Through RA programs, meetings and nightly rounds, a sense of community is initiated and fostered throughout the year. Being a RA requires complete commitment of time and energy because it sometimes calls for late nights, sparks
With my experience I notice various strengths this event had. The first one that really stood out to me was how organized the person who was mainly responsible for the diagram of the tasting tables was. This person was responsible for deciding which company was going to be at each table. Due to last minute changes she had to reorganize the order of the tables right before putting up the posters with the company name. She has an excel spreadsheet with all participating companies and had them categorized in wine or food section. With really help with assigning the companies to their tables. She really demonstrated great problem solving skills and at a quick time. Another strength I notice was that they had people directing the traffic before getting into the parking lot. The third strength I
I want to serve as a Resident Assistant because I value the importance of making a difference in the Saint Mary’s community, as well as serving as a peer leader who builds community and serves as a voice for their residence. Building an inclusive and cohesive community is very important. I want to ensure that the college living experience is a positive one and serve as a positive role model, just as my resident assistant has. Building healthy relationships with your residence, hall director, and fellow residence staff is very important. It is important to show others that you are approachable and a person who can deal and trust with during diverse situations. I will exemplify the Lasallian Core Traditions, by demonstrating a sense of belongingness
Responses to the ICCC was below .02 the individual response was retained (n=2222). The total number of responses from the original sample was 2230, numbers do not match the totals used of 2579.
I have recently completed my master’s degree and I would like to publish an article on a given topic for Parker-Benson Publishing. The topic that I would like to have published is about evaluating standardized tests for a specific grade in kindergarten through 12th grade. Standardized tests are the kind of test which will require the children at kindergarten to be answering exact questions which can be compared to easy analysis. The children are passed in the same education system and later are evaluated using same questions which require same answers. Standardized tests help in improving the education system of any state. This article after I publish it I will show my acquired skills in communication and technical writing at the
I have been a Resident Assistant (RA) for about five weeks. Training to be a RA was tiring but very educational. I learned how to handle multiple situations that could happen with me being RA. After training, it was a series of task that I had to complete as a RA. Those task included: completing forty-four Room Inventory Form, putting in fix it tickets, etc.
“Seussical the Musical” by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty was one of the school's biggest musical productions that have ever aired inside the school's auditorium. I took part as one of the lead pianists in the band, in which the band was responsible for accompanying the play with music. The lead pianist part involved some very dense and intricate parts to play with. This part became one of the most important roles in the whole musical, as it was used solely to accompany the most dramatic scenes of the show, and many band members and singers relied on the lead pianist parts to help orient them throughout. The lead pianist also must take the initiative to help the secondary pianists to help put them in better shape to play during rehearsals,
As a Resident Assistant, it is my duty to assist residents with personal, relational, social, cultural, emotional, and academic concerns while ensuring confidentiality. Being an RA was challenging, yet very rewarding experience and has taught me so many things. I am now a responsible, honest, and easy-going person who can bring diversity to anywhere I am. Also, I have always taken pride in everything that I do. I always put my best effort and complete the task to the best of my ability.
This past year I served as an administrative assistant to my regions largest convention in its history. Part of my job was to run the rituals steering team as well as overseeing logistical tasks. This convention only succeeded because of the logistical preplanning and precautions that were taken by the coordinator team.
My Attirney has advised me to ask you if you intend on sharing your false allegations and hear say to the Nursing Board? And if so that will will fight it 100%
Performance reviews are designed to both evaluate general performance and measure progress around specific goals. Both negative and positive aspects are incorporated in these reviews as they should serve as a point of reference to both look back in evaluation and ahead in anticipation. Pulling back from daily demands in order to assess and review employee performance allows managers to focus their attention on specific departments and clarify what is high priority to their company. Performance reviews also act as an opportunity to acknowledge working staff and identify professional development which will further support the staff members’ career growth. Reviews are seen as a powerful tool that can be tied to a company’s overall success;
