The opening hours of the restaurant will be from 10am to 12am on all days, including public holidays. The building will comply with the Health Act 1911.
Details of the proposed change of use of the building have to be submitted. These would include the permissibility of a tavern/restaurant in that area, some measurements will be taken during the construction phase as to not disturb the surrounding public and environment. Some measures would include noise mitigation equipment will be fitted onto the machineries and equipment and also usage of perimeter site screens and regular cleaning of site to reduce dust from demolition and construction works. Also, permissibility of the use of a tavern have to be approved in the site zoning, along with vehicle access to the area, parking zones, overshadowing, building height and landscape of car park areas. Since the tavern will be new, there will need to be advertisement and sign posters in the surrounding area, hence a sign license application has to be submitted as well. A completed form of the BA3 has to be submitted to issue the Certificate of Design Compliance. The processing time for this application will vary depending on the complexity of the application. In this case, application may be granted after 3 months after the fee of $295 is paid and conditions are met.
