First, as a third grade student with learning disabilities, I may have most likely been confused because unlike many other young learners I would have been unfamiliar with this informational text 's compare-contrast structure design and would not have been able to interpret the information about slavery and the Underground Railroad when it was presented in my selected format. Second, making the content applicable for learners without a learning disability would have created a problem because many of today’s classrooms are inclusive. Meaning a significant amount of background knowledge about either of the two things that were being presented compared and contrasted could have been unsustainable in its presentational level. Third, I did not include in collaborative work the students should be exposed to virtual group collaboration, like many students in third-grade classes, interactive and collaborative learning is a very crucial part of their growing process and socialization building.
