Germany is a close contact of American businesses. With millions of people driving BMWs and Volkswagens in the United States, Americans are strongly connected to business relations with Germany. Germany is in western/central Europe, the geographic region running along the Baltic coast where it is sandy, with dunes and small hills. Under German labor law; employees can work eight hours per day adding up to 48 hours per week on average. Saturday is generally considered to be a normal work day. Like the United States, the permitted weekly working time totals 40 hours on average with a 5-day week.
