Graduation rate is when students enter a four-year degree program, and they complete within a six year period they are considered a graduates for that year.At the University of Cal Poly Pomona there website states that there average is higher than the school has predicted.“Our six-year graduation rate is 52 percent, higher than the national average of 44 percent.”(California State Polytechnic University). Knowing that the percentage is higher than they have expected this means that it is good for the school publicity. Even though San Diego University doesn 't have that high of a graduation rate their percentage is still above average.“Based on the caliber of students that attend San Diego State University we would expect an overall graduation rate of 54.2%, however, students are graduating at a rate that is 11.8% higher.”(San Diego Graduation Rate.) The University of Arkansas Fort Smith (UAFS) was established in 1928 as an extension of the public school system in Fort Smith, Arkansas. It was known originally as Fort Smith Junior College until 1950, and it initially only occupied 15 acres. Today, the UAFS campus has approximately thirteen buildings in which classes are held in. There are several buildings that are on campus that do not hold classrooms for learning such as the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center, the Boreham Library, the Business Center, the Recreation and Wellness Center (RAWC), and the Lion’s Den. There is a total of 66 campus buildings and facilities on and off campus, and there is 1.16 million building square feet maintained by UAFS (“Why UAFS”). Each building on campus illustrates something different; there are several buildings that are new to our campus also. One building that is not new to our campus, but certainly grabs the eye of many students by either a positive or negative way is the building Gardner. Gardner is one of the oldest buildings on the UAFS campus, but besides the unusual layout that can be an inconvenience at times, the building has history, character, and beauty that out ways the negative any day.
Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is one of the largest universities in Tennessee; however, they do not offer enough housing to provide for all of their students. As a result, students are expected to find their own housing off-campus. Hence, students must live in off-campus apartment complexes that are expensive, too far away, and difficult for young students to rent. While there are some benefits to off-campus housing, students face many problems in securing these types of housing situations. The prices of off-campus housing are high and the locations are often too far away from campus to walk. In addition, many apartment complexes do not want young, college-aged people living there.

The University of Texas at Austin claims that it has good justifications for its use of race in the admittance program. To provide evidence against Fisher’s claim of being unable to stand up to strict scrutiny, the University said that the Court had previously ruled that the “UT’s limited consideration or race was ‘necessary’ and narrowly tailored to UT’s compelling interest in achieving student body diversity” ("Brief of Respondents University," 2015). After Fisher’s case went to court the first time, the court was persuades that the need for having race as part of the holistic admittance program is not considered a quota because it “a search for students of unique talents and backgrounds who can enrich the diversity of the student body in distinct ways” ("Brief of Respondents University," 2015). The University conducted internal studies and was alarmed at the low rate of minorities attending classes, and is committed to improving the interracial relations by increasing diversity. The University believes that by promoting diversity it will break down long standing racial and ethnic stereotypes, as well as improving cross-racial understanding. They find that this is necessary because our society is still race conscious. Texas is in fact racially segregated within cities. I think that Santa Rosa may even have some segregation, with Roseland having a predominantly low-income Latino population the elementary schools are made up of entirely Latino children, and have poor

Individuals with the drive and desire to become project managers have a number of options regarding the means of properly equipping oneself for real world project management situations. In addition to seeking an academic degree in project management, and before becoming a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI), learners are encouraged to participate in Project Integration Management Simulations through the PMI Registered Education Provider (REP) and world-class education simulation company, Double Masters (Double Masters, 2016).
In 2005, Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) initiated the pursuit of Substantive Change from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) with the intent to initiate two advanced degree programs, the Doctor of Education (Ed.D) and the Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). The following onsite, pre-accreditation team visited LMU in the fall of 2005 the decision was made to first pursue the D.O. degree program and postpone the Ed.D. Program. Many students come into an engineering program without a strong commitment to stay in an engineering course and to progress with an engineering degree. For students to achieve the puzzling goal of graduating in engineering requires a strong obligation, and behaviors and attitudes to follow through that obligation. To brace the commitment of the freshman engineering students an innovative project has been developed. The project dares students to develop their process to become a "World-Class Engineering Student". Having freshman engineering students design their individually custom-made learning process as part of a semester long project in the setting of a student achievement focused introduction to engineering course or any freshman engineering course will have an important impact on their academic triumph by improving the students’ confidence and motivation to succeed in engineering. This workshop will show participants how to implement the "Design your Process to become a World-Class Engineering Student" into their own introduction to engineering courses. The first year is the most important time for the Engineering Student .In this duration, student has to entirely set up his/her objectives after the exhaustive research like if someone wants to become a quality control engineer in the world level organization for this he should read about the future and scope of his relevant job position by taking the counsel from alumni, teacher or Senior Quality control engineer having
In today’s ever growing competitive market the products are getting user friendly, which means products are getting smarter and do the majority of work. Smarter products are complicated, and so is the process to develop them, Project Management is a crucial tool for streamlining complicated processes. As it applies today and in the future, to be successful in the careers mastering technical knowledge will be insufficient, if it is not backed by leadership and management skills. My primary motivation to pursue Project Management Education is to develop business skills, which will help me lead and implement my technical ideas and if required motivate and direct a team towards a common goal.
I didn’t understand why any individual would want to become a certified project manager, but this course unveiled
