The main goal for members in this particular community along with the rest of the medical community is to help people with medical needs. This goal is attained by promoting health and being a proactive advocate for your patients.

As the child of a single parent, the La Junta Rotary Club Foundation Scholarship would be of great assistance in supporting my goal of obtaining a degree in Agriculture Education. My mom has been very supportive of my education, but I know she does not have the financial ability to pay for my college education. University of California: Berkeley (UCB) is public university located in Berkeley, California and it is ranked twenty first in the nation according to US News Best Colleges. I am looking for a school that is near home, is academically rigorous, has school spirit, and offer financial aid packages that my family and I can commit to. I consider UC Berkeley a good fit for me because it is five hours and forty-five minutes driving away from home and it is an hour flight away, they offer my top three major choices, offer many study abroad programs, is a nice city that is 10 miles away from San Francisco, and have many options to finance my education.
