My vision for myself as a nurse is that I will care for all patients holistically. I will allow the patient to participate and input ideas into his or her care. I will allow patients to incorporate some of their experiences from their personal lives, and alter my care based on those experiences. I will see the patient as a unique human being and treat all patients with respect and dignity. I will encompass the values that I embrace in everything I do. I will be accountable for my actions and practice within the scope of my license.
Scholarship and learning are things I strongly value in my day-to-day life. I have completed my freshman and sophomore years so far with an unweighted GPA of 3.94 and a weighted GPA of 5.57. I’ve challenged myself in various Honors and
As the child of a single parent, the La Junta Rotary Club Foundation Scholarship would be of great assistance in supporting my goal of obtaining a degree in Agriculture Education. My mom has been very supportive of my education, but I know she does not have the financial ability to pay for my college education. My goal has always been to apply for as many scholarships as I can in hopes of having my education paid for. I plan to continue to work during college to help pay for my tuition and books, but I know working many hours and going to school can be very challenging. This scholarship would help me stay debut free and continue to work towards my goals.
As upcoming high school seniors, many such as myself, desire scholarships in order to alleviate the financial burden that attending a university can bring. Though this considerable and generous scholarship prize money will be used to further my education at Texas A&M University, my main wish is to bring pride and satisfaction to my family. As a first generation student, I am humbled by the opportunity of obtaining an education in America. Since my parents were migrants from Vietnam and Hong Kong, a successful life here was unheard of many years before. Financial strains do occasionally plague our lives, however, we have not forgotten the strenuous hard work and sacrifice that my parents have conquered in order to put their two daughters through
I believe that I would be a very good candidate to receive a scholarship when attending Saginaw Valley State University. I work extremely hard in order to succeed in my classes. I like pushing myself to continue working hard in my classes in order to get the best grades that I am capable of. I have been a very successful student at Unionville-Sebewaing Area Highschool, and I plan on continuing my success through college. I have a good work ethic. I use my work ethic to do my work to the very best of my ability. I also work extremely hard in order to achieve my goals. My main goal is to be a successful student at Saginaw Valley State University. I want to work hard in order to have a successful and rewarding college career, and to also
The intent of this scholarship is for financial need. Recently my step dad has change jobs which has cut his income significantly. This scholarship would really help paying for college, since I will also have 2 other siblings in college at the same time as me. I will be furthering my academic education at California Baptist University and will majoring in photography. Attending Cal Baptist will give me the best education as well as provide me with a Christian education. It is very important to me that I will have a Christian education and that I will be surrounded by a family like community. Some of my goals for the future are to become a photographer, learn to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself, and get an internship over one
Financial assistance is essential for me to make my dreams a reality. Scholarships will allow me to follow my academic dreams without the crushing burden of student loans or the excessive weight of having to work while taking courses. Being a young Hispanic female, and as a minority in this country, there is a great need I can help to fill. I see how many Hispanic men and women need
Receiving a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship would mean that I would get a chance to achieve my dream of being able to help others. What I like about attending IRSC is that I can fully dedicate my energy to getting my education because I know that all my classes are paid for, with the help of financial aid. Attending a public university would mean that I'd be paying no less than double the amount I am currently paying to attend Indian River State College. So when asked what it would mean to me if I were to receive a Phi Theta Kappa scholarship it would mean one less thing to worry about and more time to focus on my goals and the opportunity to further both my career and my education without the stress of wondering how much debt I'll be in once I
What I have done in order to make my school/community a better place is by being me. To be specific I go out of my way to help my community to be a better place. I have joined the California Scholarship Federation (CSF), which is a federation that recognizes students like me living in California that possess high standards in academic scholarship, community service and citizenship through volunteering time and effort to help one's community. I know that when I get older I will help my community grow and thrive into a better place. Simple tasks like being a member at any service or community organization or voting in elections and being a law abiding citizen helps my community and me. I have recently donated blood and have told all friends and
Naim Michael Pope, this is the name I was given at birth, and I guarantee you haven’t met someone with my name before. I was born in Long Island, New York, where my parents, Angela and Gregory Pope, raised me for the first three years of my life. Growing up in a Christian household has helped me through adversity I faced through football, school and friendships/relationships. Throughout my life, finances have been the core of my family’s problems. My mom is the sole caretaker of my siblings and I, and she works very hard to take care of my two brothers and one sister. My parents have been divorced since last year July;this has made my senior year of high school much harder; financially speaking. This scholarship
University of California: Berkeley (UCB) is public university located in Berkeley, California and it is ranked twenty first in the nation according to US News Best Colleges. I am looking for a school that is near home, is academically rigorous, has school spirit, and offer financial aid packages that my family and I can commit to. I consider UC Berkeley a good fit for me because it is five hours and forty-five minutes driving away from home and it is an hour flight away, they offer my top three major choices, offer many study abroad programs, is a nice city that is 10 miles away from San Francisco, and have many options to finance my education. As of now, I consider UC Berkeley one of my top choices for a variety of reasons.

In the end I hope for improving and increasing my nurse-patient relationship and to address how to efficiently deal with the acute cases. This will be my objective that I will aim at my next placement while discussing it with my mentor and implementing future research.
I know that the road that I take to become a doctor is going to be very challenging; however I feel that my past has prepared me for taking on the challenge. As a student, I am an active participant in my academic and extracurricular activities. My first priority has always been to make good grades and learn in college. Although this is important to me, I also know that by participating in clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities, I will become a well-rounded student. I have been working hard for the last 7 years, operating as an independent, responsible adult. In that time I have constantly learnt from my life experiences and developed skills in both learning and life management. I am a very motivated person with goal setting, time management and prior skills that help me achieve what I aim to do.
