Acadia is one of the most popular national parks in the country ( Interesting ). Acadia National Park is located in Maine and is an island type because its location is on Mount Desert Island ( United ). Acadia is most popular for its landscape. The rocky shores, roaring surf, tree-topped peaks and secluded coves are a few of the elements that make Acadia so appealing. Acadia has many activities to do while you are there. There aren’t just activities for the spring, summer, and fall but for the wintertime too! It is filled with outdoorsy fun and has an amazing one-of-a-kind view. My special place is a campsite called Day Maker 23 located on a small island on Namaken Lake in Voyageurs National Park. Voyageurs National Park is located in Orr Minnesota just south of the Canadian border. It is also located on the Eastern edge of the Canadian Shield. An exposed area of Precambrian stone.

The Port Noarlunga Reef is Adelaide’s main attraction. The reef exists on the eastern side of Gulf St Vincent discovered in 1971 and used for about 36 years. This narrow reef is a sandstone reef as it was formed by sand dunes. The reef is 1.6km long and lying 400m offshore. The reef is separated to two where on one of the sides the species are protected and is a reserve while the other side is where the species are not endangered which includes a mix of heterotrophs and autotrophs. In this part of the reef you can fish or do activities such as boating, snorkelling, Scuba diving, swimming, and recreational fishing. Many focus on snorkelling and Scuba diving, which makes Port Noarlunga reef special and attracts 170,000 visitors per year. The ability to interact with the species and swim and snorkel or scuba dive makes the experience much more natural and fun and hence makes this place Adelaide number one attraction. There is also a underwater trail where this gives education to the youth and also enhances the experience in marine ecosystem.

Mesa Verde National Park, located in Montezuma County, Colorado, was established in 1906 by President Theodore Roosevelt. This United States landmark was designated for the preservation of several Puebloan archeological sites and the vast geologic history exhibited within the 52,485 acres of land occupied by Mesa Verde. The Ancestral Puebloans, or Mesa Verdeans, associated with the archeological sites of Mesa Verde National Park, lived in the Mesa Verde region from the mid-sixth century to the end of the thirteenth century.[3]

This Weekend me and my family visited the Biscayne National Park and figured out that it is known for the World’s Third longest living Coral Reef .The park is located in Southern Florida. This park is one of our national treasures in many ways . Biscayne National Park was established as a national park many years ago. The definition of a stereotype is labelled as a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image of a certain type of person, or thing. When looking at Crash, Freedom Writers , To Kill a Mockingbird and Where is the Love, we see this idea of stereotypes quite often throughout the texts. Stereotypes created by current society, and often go down the path of discrimination. This is where the unjust treatment of someone is categorized down to the grounds of race, age and sex. This then further creates conflict between the person making and receiving the stereotype.

I am going to Arches National Park for my summer vacation. I know that the location of Arches National Park is located in Grand County, Utah. President Herbert Hoover officially in April 12, 1929. Arches got its name by containing over 2,000 arches. This national park has over a 10,000 years of history. I heard that a lot of people go to this national park for the wonderful trails that they can hike on, see all of the beautiful views, and spent some time with their friends and families.

The Capitan reef, an ancient partly-exposed evaporated reef, is located around the park and the caverns. The reef can be studied and looked at from underground, in the caves. This allows geologists and scientists to look at the reef’s history and discover fossilised marine life.
