Investigators later find out after secondary interviews that Jeremy Keighley the second Co-Pilot beside Stanley Key witnessed Captain Key's outburst prior to their flight together. This led investigators to wonder if this caused Keighley to make a mistake since he was new to the team and didn't know Captain Key's so well and only knew what he had saw prior to their flight. What baffled investigators is why no one pulled the emergency break to stall the plane, in this instance the plane would have rattled and alerted the pilots of the danger to come but nobody took notice of it. The emergency system also had an automatic shift that was to be pushed by the aircraft systems itself, in case the pilots did not have time to push it but the system

Contributing to the cause of the accident was the Cherokee pilot’s interrupted radio transmission, which led to the Beech 1900C pilots’ misunderstanding of the transmission as an indication from the King Air that it would not take off until after flight 5925 had cleared the runway. “Imagine the scene in the cockpit. The plan is dangerously low on fuel. They have just blown their first shot at a landing. They have no idea how much longer the plane is capable of flying. The captain is desperate: “Tell them we are in an emergency!” And what does Klotz say? That’s right to one-eight-zero on the heading and, ah, we’ll try once again. We’re running out of fuel.” (193)
I officer J.D. Reid was riding in unit 60x30 on 4/5/16 when I was dispatched to a robbery at approximately 1000 hours to a disturbance at 17000 Aldine Westfield. Upon arriving I noticed an individual, and when I went to question the individual they began to run away. Recently, I hiked around Pilot Knob with my father and a friend. Though the view of the surrounding land was gorgeous, my attention was captivated by the knob itself. Staring upward in awe, I marveled at the unique rock structure. One area was rough and cracked from centuries of tree roots and ice expanding cracks. Another was polished smooth and curved from the wind. Reflecting back to that hike I realize that I am Pilot Knob. Over time I have been shaped and worn by various events, choices, and individuals. Some have polished my character and identity smooth. Others have chipped away at the outside. Over time a beautiful formation has emerged. Today, my thoughts and identity are formed through three aspects of my character and life, my inquisitive

Those on the deck could see the huge iceberg weighing thousands of tons pass by like a dark cloud of death. Still, there was no panic. Many people just did not realize the severity of the crash at first. They went along with their card games, their brandy drinking, and their socializing on deck. Some people even played casually with the ice. When people realized that the iceberg had punctured the side of the ship, still there was no panic.
