“Run,run, run we’re going to be late!” mother exclaimed. I snatched up my pillow and blanket , and jumped into the car. Did you know that Carowinds has the tallest roller coaster in North America? Next came the moment we had all been pondering for…the concert! Some of our favorite Christian singers were going to be performing. My favorite band by far was
There were faster, taller, and safer, roller coasters then ever before before. The industry was so successful that from 1974 to 1980 more roller coasters were being built each year than all the previous years combined since 1920. I first thought the concert would include full band, background singers, different lightings and costume changes. My thought was quickly changed when I saw that there was one drummer and the artist with his two guitars. It was very different from the other concerts that I’ve been to. He was really laid back and speaking about his life openly to us. He shared with us about his life as an artist, a husband, father and a follower of Jesus. The concert was very energetic, with a lot of dancing, shouting and sing along. The songs he sung were from his old and upcoming
When we got to the park, my brother and sister went directly to one of the highest roller coasters. They were so pumped up while I was terrified to death. After thinking it through, I decided to skip the first ride and maybe all the other ones too. They just papered so gigantic, noisy and intimidating like a beast.
All roller coasters depend on many different kinds of energies to go through the track to its finish. The highest roller coaster is approximately two hundred and one feet tall. This roller coaster is also known as the Magnum, which has a peak speed of seventy miles per hour. It was designed by Ron Toomer, who was born in Pasadena, California on May 31, 1930. Toomer made many rides that revolutionized roller coasters worldwide. Even though he was prone to motion sickness as a child, he was able to make ninety-three roller coasters throughout his lifetime until his death in 2011. The Big Bad Wolf was one of his most original rides.

The Fury 325 is the fastest, longest, and tallest roller coaster on the East Coast. The giga coaster, reaches a top speed of 95 miles per hour and a height of 325 feet. This makes it the most fantastic roller coaster I have ridden. I saw Fury 325 on television and remember wanting to ride it more than anything else in the world. It looked amazing. I love the thrill of riding roller coasters, so I knew it was something I desperately had to do. I have ridden tons of roller coasters before this one, such as Intimidator 305, Apollo’s Chariot, Millennium Force, Magnum XL, and the Top Thrill Dragster. I believed that Fury 325 would be just as enjoyable, so I asked my parents if we could visit the Carrowinds Amusement Park.
I grew up listening to all their music that presented to me that night and it was so easy to connect with them and just get right into the show just like the rest of the audience. You could tell this huge audience was feeding off only a handful of artist and a few instruments and that how you tell that their music honestly makes a difference to people and gives people hope and joy. I am so excited for them to come back, so I can see them again. My parents have seen them all before and could not stress how amazing they all are and it was exciting to be able to experience it for myself this time. I would recommend anyone to go see them all because that music is what God is really about. It gives you something to live another day for. All of these artist have been in business forever and it was nice to see them show that it’s not about just money or the fans that its honesty about the music and haling people connect with God better. The initial hill has to be the highest point on the track due to a roller coaster is powered by gravity. The roller coaster has no energy so it’s relying on the energy provided by the initial hill. The additional hill must be lower than the previous hill in order to get over the hill. This is because energy is lost to heat and sound during the transfer of energy. When heat and sound occurs, that is a sign that the transfer isn’t completed and energy is leaving the system.
Roller coasters can be very different, but they usually follow the same basic track to make the ride more thrilling. The ride starts when the chain pulls the cars up the first hill. The first hill is the tallest, so the potential energy is at its most at the
Our roller coaster is about three and a half feet tall and two feet wide. It has one loop, two funnels, three turns, one five-part zig-zag, and one pulley leading from the end to the top, and four bells that rang and vibrated when the marble hit them. Our group divided the work by, assigning people jobs, then switching after a while. An example of that some people would score and other group members would fold, or some would build and others would test, and we took turns switching jobs.
A roller coaster is basically made up of potential and kinetic energy. Once you start moving that's when you're pulled by a motor and that's the only time you have a motor . You're not being pulled by a hitch all the time. Once you're moving you're on your own.
Individuals love to go to the amusement parks and try out the rides that are available. The most common and thrilling ride is the roller coaster. An amusement park is not an amusement park if it does not contain a roller coaster. What makes these roller coasters so fun that every amuse parks has one. A lot of people would say it is their extreme high speeds that makes it very exciting. That is a valid answer, but it is the wrong answer. The speed has nothing to do with the excitement. It is more than likely that most people travel faster on their ride along the highway on the way to the amusement park than they would in a roller coaster. Basically the thrill all comes from the acceleration and the feeling of weightlessness that they
