The Houses of Parliament, Cas Vromans

The Palace of Westminster is the meeting spot of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two homes of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Generally known as the Houses of Parliament after its inhabitants, it is otherwise called the 'heart of British legislative issues'. The Palace lies on the north bank of the River Thames in the City of Westminster, in focal London.

The principal illustrious castle was based on the site in the eleventh century, and Westminster was the main living place of the Kings of England until flame decimated a great part of the complex in 1512. After that, it served as the home of the Parliament of England, which had been meeting there since the thirteenth century, furthermore as the seat of the Royal Courts of Justice, situated in and around Westminster Hall. In 1834, a considerably more noteworthy fire desolated the vigorously remade Houses of Parliament, and the main huge medieval structures to survive were Westminster Hall, the Cloisters of St Stephen's, the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft, and the Jewel Tower.
