From the Big Apple to the Wind City Lakeland High School FBLA traveled the 815 miles to attend the National Leadership Conference in Chicago Illinois. The National Leadership Conference is the biggest and most anticipated conference of the year and is also where members of FBLA have the opportunity to see who is the best of the best by competing in competitions that they qualified for at the State Leadership Conference. This year Lakeland High School FBLA had seven competitors competing in Future Business Leader, Parliamentary Procedure Team, Job Interview, Banking and Financial System and Help Desk. All our competitors spend a lot of hard work and dedication studying for their competitions unfortunately however our competitors fell short this year of getting on stage. Even though none of them placed at Nationals, Lakeland High School is proud of them making it as far as they did and the hard work they put into their competitions. In spite of that this year Lakeland High School had a lot to celebrate at the conference.

The last thing that this island needs right now is another thing that contributes to the heavy traffic. The rail project has been in motion for quite some time now but there is still little to no evidence of it completing any time soon. The reasons why the rail has not yet to finished is because of fiscal issues and decrease of values.
As two new co-advisors step up to lead HOSA, Health Occupations Students of America, Lisa Cardillo and Sarah Brink do their best to assist the club. The goal of HOSA is to introduce health careers to students, for the hope to enhance future health care. Students who are interested in the health related fields can benefit from joining the club since HOSA allows them to have an opportunity to shadow health professionals. Being dedicated towards the club and having motivation to lead, Cardillo and Brink use their experiences to help guide students to find their passion. Familiarizing themselves on how HOSA runs is a challenge for the new co-advisors; however, other obstacles that they have to face are planning field trips, and helping students

This would also indicate that HCA receives a lower rating. This could prove to be good and bad. In some instances, companies with lower ratings experience a rise in their cost of debt or loss access to the debt market. When Du Pont lost their AAA rating they did not experience any dramatic changes. With the growth rate at 15%, HCA has an opportunity to increase in the future.
