Introduction Hero Mortorcorp was known as Hero Honda, is an Indian two wheeler manufacturer headquartered in New Delhi, India. It is the largest two wheeler manufacturer in World. In 1983 the joint collaboration agreement with Hero Cycles of India and Honda Motor Co. Ltd of Japan signed. And in 1984 Hero Mortorcorp was started with the name Hero Honda. As per the agreement Honda started to provide the technical guidance for the products to be launched and carried out research and development. Hero had to pay a royalty of 4% for the services by Honda. In the business jointly Hero and Honda held 26% of the equity, 26% was raised by public and the remaining was held by other financial Institutions. Hero Honda cd 10 was the first bike to be launched by the company in 1985, which was completely designed by Honda.
