Working as the supervisor for the Lake Operation Unit came with an ever changing set of working conditions and problems not normally associated with a patrol station. I found Sergeant Wallace to constantly be looking for the right and just solution for the myriad of difficulties found while working the lakes and he often had a well thought out plan to address the concerns. His interaction with the staff at the lakes or his constant communications with the Department of Water Resources (DWR) was encouraging and I found his involvement in ensuring a smooth running operation at the lakes to be refreshing. In summary, Sergeant Wallace was a different type of supervisor. He had specific knowledge and an area of expertise regarding the lakes

2Lt Fisher was employed as a Platoon Commander (Pl Comd) on the Army Cadet Leader Course during her time at the CTC. At the beginning of the summer, she displayed disinterest and lack of motivation towards her position and associated responsibilities. During her initial interview, she identified two areas she would work on throughout the course of the summer: enhancing her organizational skills and ensuring cadet participation during scheduled periods of instruction.
As a young college graduate COL Mahoney wanted to join the Army and make an immediate impact in law enforcement; so he became a member of the Military Police (MP) Corps in1982. With discipline and dedication, he climbed the ranks, obeyed the orders of his superiors, motivated his peers to persevere, encouraged his subordinates, and honed his personal leadership skills. Time after time he led the physical training sessions and the complex mission requirements training of the MP force in each of his units.
I would like to participate in the Lake Adney project because I believe it will allow me to further develop my research and use the ones that I have developed over the years. It would be interesting to record the history of Lake Adney in relation to the residents. I want to learn about the area around Lake Adney in the 1940s.

I worked with Bennie as part of the United States Army Recruiting Command in Red Bank, New Jersey. As a Station Commander, Bennie strove to balance mission accomplishment with team members well being. Bennie was keenly aware of the importance of the team’s mission and endeavored to ensure mission accomplishment. Although the driving force behind the station was mission success, Bennie went above and beyond his duty in ensuring that the recruiters assigned to the station understood the value of teamwork and shared mission accomplishment.

There are many forms of transportation a city can utilize and the city of Rice Lake is lacking in being a bicycle-friendly community. The city lacks by not having a fully connected bike trail within the city limits that connects the residential areas to the commercial areas. By providing the connection it reduces motorized traffic and helps reduce harmful emissions. This can give the city extra income to support maintaining and developing the trail if they would charge a small fee to use it. These are some perks the city could obtain, but only if they would be willing to provide this service to the community.
This paper will provide an overview of my transition from being an infantryman to my current position as the G1 Sergeant Major (SGM) for the Oregon Army National Guard. The paper is broken down to three time periods in my career. First, the paper will address my career in human resources from my entry in the Army to 9/11. This section will focus primarily on how human resources was perceived in the Army, the lack of technology and the lack of prioritizing the human resources mission. The next section will focus on events throughout my career after 9/11. The main focus of this section will be the changes within human resources while I served as the Senior Human Resources Sergeant for 1249 Engineer Battalion. Lastly, the paper will give a brief overview of my responsibilities as the G1 SGM.
On 2013 Amazon built three headquarter buildings in downtown Seattle's "South Lake Union" region. South Lake Union was once a few high-rise buildings in a low rent warehouse district. People in the past usually only drove through there rather than making it a destination. However, since the beginning of the development of the Amazon region, that has changed: Every lunch time, the empty streets everywhere Amazon employees wearing blue employee cards scurry to food trucks such as Thai, Mexican and other food.

I have enjoyed reading your post this week. I'm agree with you that growth of population in our country adding more problems for safe water and food sources. I would like to add some more about lake Mead situation. One of the reasons why lake's Mead water level goes down is use of it source for irrigation in south California (USA Today). In my opinion drinking water shouldn't be used for anything else, but to satisfy people needs in water, especially in the desert. Fortunately Nevada's local authorities finally realized all the dangerous this situation, and in 2016 we should see a couple projects that will help to hold level of lake at 1075 feet (USA Today). Do you think that our Great Lakes under danger of drying off as
