On the morning of May 7th, 2000 the murder of Mary Ann Stephens occurred. She was a tourist to Jacksonville, Florida along with her husband. The two were staying at the Ramada Inn Hotel and had just came from breakfast when they were approached by a young black man who held them at gunpoint, took Mrs. Stephens' purse then proceeded to shoot her between the eyes. When the police first arrived, the elderly woman's body was several inches away from the path on which her and her husband were walking along to get back to their room. Curtis J Jones Jr. is a democratic member in district four of the Philadelphia City Council. District four includes places like Allegheny West, Overbrook, Overbrook Park Manayunk, Roxborough, Belmont Village, East Falls, and Wynnefield. Jones became a city councilman in 2007. In 2012, he was elected to serve as council Majority Leader. By 2015, Jones won the election. Not only is he Council Majority Leader, but he is also chairman of the commerce and Economic Development, and the Committees on Public Safety. As well as being vice chair for Parks and Recreational, and Cultural Affairs. Befor he was in City Council, Jones went to Overbrook High School. During his college years he went to University of Pennsylvania then transferred to Boston University and later got his masters.

Jones advised he picked up the victim, Graeme Hill, at Tampa International Airport, (TIA) at approximately 0130 hours. Jones advised when he arrived at TIA, the airport police had Hill detained for causing a disturbance. Jones related they knew Hill was going to River Oaks and held him until Jones arrived. Jones related he arrived at River Oaks with HIll at approximately 0220 hours. Jones said he had gone into the office with Hill, at which point he advised Hill said he wanted to go to jail. A lot of fans thought this could be Terrence Williams, and Cole Beasley’s breakout year. The Ferguson police department became notorious for their reaction to the death of Mike Brown. In 2014, Mike Brown was shot dead by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. The officer that shot Brown had not been indicted.

On November 23, 2012 Jordan Davis, a young black male who lived in Jacksonville, Florida, and three of his friends, stopped at a gas station. The four boys were blasting one of their favorite rap songs. As one of the boys went in the store, another car pulled up beside them. In this car, Michael Dunn, a white middle aged software programmer, was waiting as his fiancée went inside the store. Dunn, annoyed by the music blasting from the adjacent car, rolled down his window and yelled at the three boys to turn the music down. After the fourth boy returned, a heated exchange took place, Dunn then pulled the handgun he was concealed carrying. On 12/7/16 at about 5:55 AM, Amazon Associate (A/A) Bryan Vincent (bvvincen) notified security that he found damage on his vehicle and it may have been caused by on site. A/A Vincent owns a Midnight blue Honda Accord. At the time of incident, he was parked in the B-Lot 2. Upon being notified by the officers in B-Building, Security Account Manager Enmanuel Cabrera instructed Security officer Matthew Pauline to assist with taking pictures of the damage and gathering the information needed. This case involves a United States consulate civil guard attempting to sell classified information to China’s Ministry State Security. Brian Underwood was stationed in China during the building of th United States China Consulate construction and had clearance to sensitive information assosciatted with United States national defense operations(FBI, 2013). Underwood sought to contact MSS to sell classified United States intelligence in a letter which he placed in his apartment for MSS to find (FBI, 2013). Underwood took photographs, recorded security systems and built a building plan with the intent of selling information to this foreign government (FBI, 2013). During this period Underwood was assisting the United States Law Enforcement on a operation (FBI,2013). When Underwood was questioned he stated that the work, collection, was for said operation US Law Enforcement. Underwood used his status as a Cleared American Guard, CAG, at the construction of the U.S. Consulate and participant of a US Law Enforcement operation as an access point (FBI, 2013).

I have known Paul Johnson for the past three years, since he started to come to my classroom during his lunch period. I am a social worker who runs the alternative program at Oakland Mills High School in Columbia. This is a program for bright students, who are non-traditional learners and often have conflict with authority figures. Without the extra support, most of these students would fail high school or drop out of school.
