Case Study : New Charter University

Working as a loss control consultant for XYZ manufacturing company, various aspects of information need to be acquired prior to visiting. Assessing procedures for safety awareness and loss prevention practices, while reporting outcomes, and then deliberating with the underwriters. Within XYZ manufacturing company these areas include the following topics: record logs, the number of workers, ergonomics, the hazard level, training and orientation plans, and previous work recovery programs. Developing a new policy for XYZ manufacturing company will be produced through evaluation and modification of these areas.

In this task, Customer of Legislation, I will discuss the five main acts of parliament that the legislations are made for the business. The legislation is a law, which there are five for businesses, which everyone must follow the law, however, the ideas of Laws in a business are made by the government to make sure customers of a business are protected from a business by the five Acts of Parliament. These Laws of parliament will make sure the Business follows the rules for customer’s protection purposes. However, if they don’t follow the rules, the customers could be harmed; the businesses must be honest to customers; the business must not take advantage of customers.

In Week one of Contemporary Business Law, Team A learned about substantive, procedural, criminal, civil, common, and statutory law. In the reading assignments for week one, we discerned the differences that separate the laws and how the courts enforce the laws. Corporations and businesses are awarded protections under the Amendments to the Constitution of the United States that protect them from fraudulence. The following essay covers Team A interpretation of the different laws and how the laws pertain to corporations, businesses, and our current places of employment.

Sauk Valley Community College should have a track and field team for several reasons. SVCC use to have a track and field team. Sadly, they dropped it in the nineteen seventies probably because of the expenses. Track and field is a very popular sport that many students might want to take part in middle and high school, or even at college level. Track isn’t a very expensive sport. It is one of the cheapest sports to participate in. Track and field is also very popular sport in colleges in the two hour radius from Sauk Valley Community College. Bringing track and field to Sauk will bring about 40-50 new students each year. Also, this will make Sauk become a better choice of colleges in the area, because of the distance.

It's May of my senior year and part of our High School and Beyond Plan is to participate in a weeklong job shadow in a job field that suits our interests. Originally agriculture was the path I had chosen. However, I had decided to select a job shadow in the healthcare field. You see, in November of my senior year, my great-grandmother passed away. In light of recent news of alcohol-related arrests at Eastern Connecticut State University, I am concerned with the excessive prosecution of students at Eastern and its surrounding community. Project Know, an organization that tracks these issues on college campuses, published back in their 2014 “Drugs on Campus” report that Eastern had the highest percentage of alcohol-related arrests of all universities in America. Overall, the University, Rutgers is known for its beautiful Locations, long history and plenty of sports and club teams join so there can never be a dull moment.

Saint Francis University has many opportunities for service and outreach. I would like to be involved in service and outreach as a way to give back to the community. The Center of Excellence for Remote and Medically Under-Served Areas would provide the opportunity to research and provide health care to people in need. The Science Outreach Center promotes the benefits of STEM and how children can one day turn this education into a well-paying job. Disepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness is the perfect place to volunteer and gain hands on experience. There is also many opportunities to partake in research there.
