Brittanie left for Sam Houston today, and I couldn't be more excited and proud of her, as she opens up a new chapter in her life. I wouldn't trade having lunch dates at La Madeline, struggling with chemistry, or having our 10 seconds of fame on the big screen at an Astros game for anything else. I'll see you soon,
the ride back to Vaughn’s loft, he apologized several times. Justine just wasn’t trying to hear it.
If you grew up with white boys Who only look at black and Puerto Rican porno Cuz they want something that their dad don't got Then you know where you're at Mortaring your ear holes shut In a rush with wet coke In a Starbucks bathroom with the door closed On booze some left in residue and confused Like the first time you used soft water Down on my luck caught unaware Like Houdini when the last fist struck Sinking in laughing at something sunken in I am If I'm sinking in laughing at something sunken in I am
Dear Whitney, sorry i have not been able to get ahold of you sooner, but you will not believe where i am and what i have done. It's a long and confusing story so bear with me. Feel free to write back, i look forward to any letters from you.
Carlione always stayed in her room, day and night. I never knew why, but I wanted to. So one day when Caitlin and I were going to play, I asked, “What does Carlione do in there all day.” Caitlin didn’t have an answer. Neither did her brother. So I went in there one day and saw her playing on a D.S.I. I asked what she was doing and she said she was playing KingdomHearts. I didn’t know what it was, but I heard of it. So I asked “What's that.” She said it wasn’t a game I would understand.
Days came. Days went. The sun rose. The sun set. The spirits would lay out different sets of rich clothes for Rosa every morning.
I still remember the dreadful day of pain, seared into my memory for all of eternity. The salty smell of blood filled the dark and smoky air. Gunshots rang through the air, echoing through the trees; yet the white flag flew high above us. Bullets rained from the sky knocking leaves and needles from the tree limbs and cut perfect circles through our tepees. An infant cried out hidden in the blood of his dead mother. Then, in the shower of deadly metal, a silver raindrop passed through the infant’s head and for one fateful second, everything became silent. Yet the rain of death persisted causing even more fatalities. I remember running as fast as my legs could carry me, trying to keep up with the rest of our people while doing my best to hide from the rain of death falling from the heavens.
How long have I been here? How long since I gave up my pride to grovel at the feet of ---?
Stop me, don't pull me under Because I don't wanna be the one left behind...no way And if you pull me down, down with you I will never ever be the same... no way I gave my heart, you stole it away I let you in, you didn't stay I left the light on for you Up all night but this ain't no romance
I sat in the lobby all alone, thinking about Jane Gallagher. All off the sudden I wanted to get the hell out of there. So I decided to call an uber and head on over to this nightclub in Greenwich Village, Ernie’s. It’s called after this piano player who used the play there back in the 50’s. Now they only play shitty electronic dance music there. Sometimes I wish I lived in the 50’s.
*Kaho opened her eyes, slowly tilting her head from side to side to get a look around the room. Her blurry vision provided no insight however, as the mass of white colors clouded together in an unrecognizable lump. The lighting was extremely harsh, and in order to better adjust her vision she squinted in the direction of the loud noises. After a moment, everything came into focus and she was able to recognize it as a TV screen with what appeared to be the symbol of Hope's Peak Academy displayed on it.
The Man in the Yellow Suit “Run!” Toni yelled as a yellow bus turned the corner. “Why it's just a bus? ” said Jack well everyone else darted for the house. “No Jack!
As I was walking home for a long boring day at school I saw an inkblot. It looked like someone was being stabbed, I was petrified. I didn’t want to look at my ink blot , but after thinking about it I figured out that there might be something I can see. I ended up looking at the inkblot anyway.
It is had been some great time since we last talked. I still remember clearly, you badgered me, insisting to read to you that Bluebeard and His Seven Wives. Your dear old Granny, getting furious with me for reading it to you. I remember her yelling “you’ll burn in hell”. I should have known better than to read such a book to a young boy like you, but I did see that shine in your eyes when I read it to you. Your imagination was rumbling; I have seen in the children I teach before. I hope it did good to you. Your Granny, with her writhing looking filled with the horror of what I read to you, banished me from her house. Since your Granny had me leave, I began renting in the West side of town, in the dingy apartments, close to where you used to
and green. Blue as discussed earlier was represented as the color of the God and other religious concepts, so the major incorporation of the color blue in the reliquary chasse indicated the spiritual significance it carried. Envisioning blue on the chasse unified people to Jesus Christ. Many of the reliquary chasse of the 12th century narrated a story; this individual one narrates the crucifixion of Christ. There are several key figures engraved throughout the exterior of the chasse, however since the crucial scene of the execution are shown on the front face of the chasse, that indicates that this chasse was primarily to be seen from the front rather than the sides. If viewed from the front, the top has three figures designed on it. In the center is the God the Father and on his either sides are two unknown saints. All three figures are represented in mandorlas however in different colors. The God of Father is displayed in the blue mandorla while the saints are shown in green mandorla. Here we can interpret a sense of hierarchy because the God of Father is shown in blue, which represents a divine color, however the saints are represented in green that is a mix of blue and yellow. So, blue still exists and represents divinity, yet the mixture of blue and yellow to produce a different shade of blue signifies that the God of Father is above and more important than the saints.
