Money is an important component that can help ones to function properly in this society. However, money defines our self-worth and value in this society. For decades, unemployment has become a big issue in our community. The younger generation are the one who suffers the most from the crisis. In 2009 alone, 6.7 million youths joined the ranks of the unemployed, and compare this with an average annual increase of 191,000 in the 10 years before the crisis 1997 to 2007(Elder,2010). Youth unemployment is a crucial issue in our society. Unfortunately, a lot of young people are going through that situation. When it comes to find a job, young people are the less fortunate for many reasons. For instance, some employers might be biased on ages and believes that young people do not have skills or enough experiences to perform at the level required for the jobs. The problem of youth unemployment has many causes and consequences in our society. Youth unemployment can affect the economy, family relationship, increase crime rates and, mental health.

I did not know that then but maybe if I did it would not have scared me as much as it did. I do know now that I love scary movies and I have a blast going to see them and scare my kids just as I felt when I was their age. Nothing is more fun then scaring people and seeing their faces. Maybe that’s why there are so many scary movies to see. They made a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street but the guy who played Freddy was no where as good as
Today 's economic and employment situation is increasingly precarious for younger people. Responsibility is needed by everyone to assist in youth employment and economic growth in an economy that inches closer everyday to becoming a recession. A deeper understanding of the issues young workers face when entering into the workforce is needed as well. Knowing how younger people prioritize their responsibilities and accomplishments, will help us recognize what they need to grow. We also need to let them overcome limitations that are specific to them. It is important to be aware of how all of us delegate, blame or impose responsibility toward young workers. The two essays, "Can Generation Xers Be Trained?" by Shari Caudron and "The Sweet Bird of Youth Is Showing Signs of Age" by Andrew Beyak show stark contrasts to the issues of the younger generation in society.

Now, an adolescent must take on the challenge of always being on time and, upon arrival, fulfilling their jobs requirements consistently. Additionally, it teaches young people that hard work reaps rewards. Holding a job encourages people to continue on to perhaps harder, higher paying jobs in the future in furtherance of securing financial security. This experience aids in the preparation for adulthood by familiarizing the youth with the working system as well which, under normal circumstances, most will have to encounter in the future
Sociologists study human society. Their studies include human behavior in many social contexts such as social interaction, social institutions and organization, social change and development (Abraham). Because of the broad spectrum of social circumstances that are studied, unemployment is an issue in which sociologists thrive. Conflict in the areas of age, race, gender, and disability is common among the employed as well as the unemployed. From a sociological perspective, unemployment can be studied through both the Functionalist Theory and Conflict Theory. It also touches upon the results of unemployment in societies and institutions such as family, education, government, and health. Unemployment affects almost everyone to some extent
The argument surrounding the unemployment rate in Australia, in relevance to Australia’s optimum population level, has been often heavily debated; whether Australia has reached its optimum population remains particularly contestable. However the real issue for Australia has been in regards to the Labour force. Job availability has steeply declined over the last decade which has prompted the government to increase the migration intake, through the skilled migrants system, to provide companies and industries with the labour force that they require. According to Stimulus A, the increase and peak in the skilled migration and into Australia from late 2009 would indicate the government pushing for skilled migrants into Australia. Due to the
With the United States population steadily growing larger in quantity, and the United States simultaneously losing employment opportunities leads to a seemingly dim future for today's youth. The unemployment rate for young people ages 14-24 have risen over the past years. Many young people lack the skills and resources to obtain employment, while older youth who graduate college have a difficult time obtaining a job, especially one in the field they attended school for because of the lack of graduate jobs available. Even though there are some programs that assist youth with obtaining a job temporarily such as the Summer Youth Employment Program in the New York State, this still is a significant issue that must be addressed. The negative effects that unemployment has on the youth is that they will lack the opportunity to gain work experience early to

The effects of a minimum wage increase are debated among many economists. Some are for it and some are not. President Obama had tried to increase the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 back in 2016 and it did not pass in the senate. Barack Obama state that the federal minimum wage at $7.25 is not enough. There are some sates that passed higher minimum wage laws to include Hawaii, Delaware, Minnesota, Maryland, and West Virginia. Some economists argue that a federal minimum wage increase will negatively impact the economy. They believe this because it could lead to higher prices of services and goods. This could lead to job layoffs and less demand for those services and goods (Martocchio, 2017).
The age at which you can start receiving your full social security retirement benefits varies depending on the year you were born. At any rate, you can being to start taking benefits as early as age 62 or you can wait as late as till you’re 70 years old. It’s easy to understand that as you begin to approach 62, you’re going to start thinking about maybe taking those benefits, however, it’s important to know for sure what the rules are and what effects you will have if you choose to take those benefits at that time.
Unemployment is something every nation deals with, some remedy their issue while in other countries such as the U.S. it seems to be a more commonly reoccurring issue or even epidemic at points. This makes it clear the biggest problem facing the U.S. is the unemployment. A major point raised in favor of this argument is how unemployment seems to never go away in the U.S.; we attempt to put these temporary Band-Aids on the issue so we can “save our economy” but in fact, it’s only procrastinating the problem and leaving it to snowball and affect future generations such as ourselves and our next of kin. The current unemployment rate is also providing false hope to U.S. citizens, making it look as if we are in a good economic standing when you reveal the full story you see the poverty line is rising and the debt clock is skyrocketing like never before. Another major flaw with the unemployment rate that most citizens don’t see is how the unemployment rate forgives to account for many factors and adjustments such as labor participation rate and the demographic adjustments that leave the unemployment rate 2-7% higher than as stated currently. Many people do make the argument that with unemployment being at an all-time low, it should be of low priority in society. However like stated previously, the fix put in to lower our unemployment rate is only temporary, as it is every time. Barack Obama himself spoke

Although few of my 2017 high school graduate friends believe that it is a better economical idea to drop several years for work and to proceed to earn a degree later, for most young adults it makes a better sense to get their education right away because of the financial, social and educational benefits university offers.
Since the 2008 financial crisis and the recession that followed in 2009 there has been a high unemployment rate among the youth. Canada’s unemployment rate is sitting at an all high time of 11.8%. (TD Economics) The unemployment rate specifically for youth aged 15 to 24 years old has climbed approximately 24.4%. (TD Economics) The impact of youth unemployment is long lasting and can harm an individual’s career opportunities. Economists have conducted a research which determines that the period of unemployment in an individual’s life will negatively impact them in the future because they will earn lower wages. For example, if you are a college or university graduate in Canada who is in a recession the unemployment rate will rise by about 5%, that implies a loss in earnings of about 9% annually. employee to attend a meeting again with myself and this time my colleague, we provided her with a rape alarm which she could use in the case of anyone getting too close to her or if she was to feel in any kind of danger. We also told her that we will ensure she is roterd on to work with a care worker on a two care worker visit if she agreed. She was pleased to hear this although we now had the views of other care workers to consider. After a week of the new employee working with other care workers we had reports of her still not working as a team and now reports of her using fowl language and watching television when she was meant to be supporting individuals. At this time I also had a relative of a service call me and report that he has
