During these next few years at CMU, I plan to expand my knowledge of learning, enjoy my time here, and figure out the person I am. I understand that over these next five years at Central Methodist University my goals will change, but that is what I am excited about. This is the change for me to really see what is important to me.
I have wanted to attend college since I started High School, because of the simple reason that I will be able to learn more. Lots of people do not appreciate all that they can learn and I was guilty of this once. I would go through a lesson and wouldn't focus on learning, but when the hour would be over. As a grew more into a adult, I have seen learning as a Privilage and not something I would take advance of. I look
The majority of students that enroll into college make the decisions that attending college is better after graduating; they can work in their career field at a younger age, and have a successful future. Most of the students enrolling in college obey their parents’ wishes; all parents want their kids to attend college to get a better education for themselves. Especially, in a society we live in, many jobs require some sort of college degree. Time is money, and the more time you waste, the more money you have to dish out to engage academic pursuit.
By going to college, I'm making the decision to better my future. I will be able to learn and deal with the advances in the upcoming technology that are changing the world. I will be able to adapt to unfamiliar situations and be prepared for the diversity of this world I live in. I will be able to contribute to my community and have the lifelong habits to excel. In summary, although at times my life can be stressful and overwhelming going to college will help me to become a better person. I will learn and be able to teach my children how to set goals. regardless of the challenges we will
My motivations for going to college include many things that include stepping out into a bigger world than just my small hometown, also seeing what other opportunities may await me. Other motivations I have for going to college is to get a higher level of education to help me find a future job and hopefully a future career. Being able to expand my horizons is another motivation, by doing this it may open doors for me in
There are some people who think college is a waste of time. Then there are others who would debate that opinion and say college is an essential key to life. With a college education, I would have a better opportunity at making my life a lot better. I will be giving myself the opportunity live above the poverty level of today and I will be giving myself a chance at middle-class living. College can be extremely tough if I am not disciplined but it is well worth it. Going to college gives me the advantage of a better education at something that I love, growth in my career, achieve independence and great aspect of networking.
Ultimately I plan to attend college no matter the obstacles that I will face. The ability to get a well paying job that you actually like is very hard when you don't have a college degree. When having a college degree everything is easier for the most part. There are a good amount of college graduates that doesn't have a job after have acquired a college degree. But that fact will not deter me from achieving my goal. Because the grass is always greener on the other
I want to go to college because it’s something I need to do in order to succeed in life. I would
I am writing this essay concerning myself and my experience that will take place with Colorado Christian University. I believe CCU will be a very good place to start and pursue my education. Just to know that its a Faith Based Organization and College is good enough for me. I have been wanting to get back into school to further my education for a long time now and because of many obstacles and procrastinating on my part has delayed the process. But I believe that if its going to happen for me and my family then its now or never. This will help enhance my knowledge in what I already know to help me become A better Pastor and In the Educational Field. Just to let you know a little bit about myself I am the Senior Pastor and Founder Of The Worship
I will admit it; in high school and for a few years after, I had no interest in attending college. It was my belief people could succeed without a college degree if they worked hard enough. I still wholeheartedly believe that. However, I have come to the realization I am not one of those people.
I go to college to have more opportunities about my skills, my knowledge base and expose me to a whole new world of learning. This is a reason
I have always wanted to go to college. I have always thought that college searching would be hard and expensive, but actually you can find your perfect college that fits your budget. You notice that college is more expensive than you would have thought when you were younger. Everyone has had a dream of what their perfect college would be, but that dream soon changes once you start to do research on colleges.
College for me was never a question. It was more like I had to attend college, but never did I think I would face so many obstacles. I come from a family of five, and we all came to the U.S. to have a better life and to have an opportunity for our education. I am the first one in my family to graduate from high school and to attend college. Attending college right after high school had three main obstacles I had to face such as being the first one to attend college from my family, having some challenging classes, and having to manage my time between school and work.
I would like to attend college to make a statement. When I was in middle school and my freshmen year of high school, I was not the most educated person. I want to go to college to make a career out of my self. I want to make an impact on this world when I grow up.
Many people do not realize how important getting an education is; some people believe that it is not worth the time nor the effort. I am not saying that I am against it, but to me going to college is all I have thought about since I was a child; being able to learn and master a new skill just excites me more than anything. It has also motivated me throughout my whole education, especially since no one in my family has ever attended college: it is like opening a new door for my family since my family and I have been through hard times: my dad died when I was six years old thus leading to the result that my mom had to support me herself. My mom considered this terrible situation as a nightmare. Why? Well first of all she did not attend college and second, her work was pretty much anything that could pay the bills and buy clothes for both of us.
There are many factors that influence people to go to college or not to nowadays. I make this claim because certain people believe that college does not benefit you in the long run. Others would often go to college to excel in learning more knowledge.
Motivation-There is several elements that have developed my motivation to pursue a college degree. First being my drive to have a successful life with struggle, many Americans struggle to succeed without an education. Secondly it is hard to advance in many careers without a degree in the area you are working in, even so sometimes with a degree it is still difficult to improve in a career. Lastly, my family is my strongest motivation to succeed in achieving a college degree so I can support them when I get out of the military.
