“Will he keep putting them off?”
This is the parable of the unjust judge and the widow – so they met and JC is talking about prayers right now. JC told them to show his disciples they should always pray and not give up.
In one town there was a judge who did not care about God – so this was a very extreme evil person – you could not get worse.
But a widow comes and said grant me justice against my adversary – but would he listen? He doesn’t care about God and he looks down on man so of course he refused. But then what happened?
So it is that even though I am this type of person, I will grant justice cos this widow keeps bothering me. we have looked at this many times but I hope we can look at this again today – we must

Also we must know that there are the hands of God that are unseen – even though we say that we know, we do not know – and we say we can see but we cannot see – there are these hands of God that we cannot see – if we ask for help then there are these hands that help us.
Even though sometimes it feels like we have come here by my own – it feels like this but God holds my shoulders and he guides me to this place and when we realise this we can experience this grace. When we do work we can think that this is just my work but then later we can feel these unseen hands.
In Isaiah it says are my hands to short to save you – do I not have the power to rescue you – it is like that – and sometimes we look down on God and we look at God at our own level. But really there is this unjust judge – we can be this also. We should not look at God at our own eyes.
Look at Hebrews 10:11-12
So here it is that Sarah was old and baron and unable to conceive but she gained the strength and power to conceive – through faith – so even though baron when she believed she had the power and strength to conceive – it is like a dry stick – with faith only can it sprout – it has the power to move everything.

This quote has massive depth to it. It’s stating why should he pray when all God has done is kill and torture thousands. Another example, “ What are You, my God? I thought angrily. How do You compare to this stricken mass gathered to affirm to You their faith, their anger, their defiance?

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
The church minister shared the example of Jesus who prayed at Gethsemane from the Matthew 26:31-46. Peter seems strong with his courage and power at the beginning; however, he failed when he denied Jesus three times. He was he was very cowardly in the face of the cross. The flesh is so weak, the cross is heavy and not easy to carry, even for Jesus. Compared to Peter, Jesus was so sorrowful and troubled, He prayed three times at the point of death; He showed absolute faith and an obedient heart to the Father, and overcame death for the sake of love with God's power. When the hardship and
I will say that makes no sense to me what so ever. God is all good and all powerful there is no greater than God. This may be because I have a strong belief and faith. With free will and because of that free will we seem to lead ourselves into situations we have no business being involved in. God does not have hatred for people he hates the sins we commit against him. We are Gods children, so he corrects us when we are wrong.
When Death is first sent by God to retrieve Everyman, he denies that it is actually his time to go. At first he tries to bribe death, offering her one
Sarah, after hearing the news, told Cate that it was our family’s lack of faith—and specifically, Cate’s lack of faith—that caused the baby to die. We did not “claim” God’s healing for Hannah, and if we had done so she would have been born alive. The suffering from Hannah’s death was magnified by Sarah’s assertions, and our family is still grappling with both. It has broken my mother’s heart, caused my father to believe his lack of faith killed his grandchild, and made Cate suffer more than she
As I read the Bible, I gradually find that Lord is not almighty. When the Pharaoh treated Israel as slaves, he protected them, but he tried so many ways. He can’t control those people who don’t believe Him, and He doesn’t know what they are thinking in their mind, so that He was cheated by the pharaoh again and again.
In Matthew 6 of the Bible, Jesus explains how he wants his followers to pray and fast, and he gives an example of what kinds of prayers should be said to God. Many times, Jesus advises against “verbose prayer, flamboyant fasting, and devotions designed merely to get attention” (Matthew 6: l-8). In the modern Christian religion, many churches’ practices seem to negate what Jesus advised to do in this text. Members of churches often display their faith to others, praying loudly, publicly, and oftentimes, repetitively. It is thus difficult to decide what the “correct” ways are to pray and act in modern Christianity if the practices of churches either reject or ignore this notable passage in the Bible.
In the Abraham and Sarah story, we see the faith through Abraham’s obedience. On leaving Haran, Abraham was 75 years of age and Sarah was 65” GN 12:4. An elderly couple is sent to leave their comfort zone and going to the unknown and facing hostile land in Ur. They were confident that if they obeyed God, they would be rewarded. God says to Abraham ““To your seed I am going to give this land”. God blesses his descendancy. After all, that God has given to Abraham, he begins to doubt. The lack faith can be seen when Abraham ridicules God, when he tells Abraham that his wife will bear a child. Therefore, the couple takes matter into their own hands, and their servant, Hagar, bears a child named Ishamel. It was through faith where Sarah reconciled
While communication is critical for any relationship to grow, learning how to communicate with God by praying is a significant tool for a new believer to grasp. Spending time with God in prayer can be a rich, rewarding experience; consequently, frequently new believers worry if they are praying right. By a believer understanding that prayer is simply a way of having a conversation with God, this can help to relieve the pressure of “getting it right.”. Also, they need to understand that there is no wrong way to pray or that prayer needs to take
