Despite her death at a young age, she was able to see the sunlight behind the dark gray clouds when there was little to no light. People everywhere have been inspired by her to get through all of the difficult times. There have been many museums that display a copy of her journal as well as quotes (“Anne”). It is here, millions of people are able to see what she went through and how to overcome the dark times. The Frank family, along with other families, hid for two years from the Nazis to avoid being captured. Her family could not go outside and experience the things that normal families were fortunate of doing at the time. “The families spent two years in hiding, never once stepping outside the dark, damp, sequestered portion of the building,” (“Anne”). They had a limited lifestyle and had to be wise with whom they asked for help. For example, if they needed someone to get their weekly necessities, it required asking someone that they trusted. In conclusion, Anne was able to accept the fact that she was more limited in her lifestyle and her needs. Not only did she have to hide for two years, but she had to share a small annex with other more families. She demonstrated courage by living with fear, as well as hiding, which is risky and something that other Jewish people may not have done. Anne Frank showed great epic hero traits through her whole lifetime. To this day, she still inspires many people to look at the brighter side of circumstances even if it
Even though Anne lived in confinement and in such circumstances she didn’t give up on herself and was still optimistic. This shows that Anne Frank is a strong person, at an early age she was able to not lose hope and still believed that people are really good at heart. That is truly amazing. Anne makes everyone happier and just smile more. She can bring the best out of people and, in situations. Anne is just being a teenager and trying to have fun. I truly hope I can be like Anne someday. This girl went through torture and pain and still kept a smile on her face. Meanwhile if teenage doesn't acquire an iPhone they have a fit. We all need to take lessons and look at what's really important in life. Anne knew that family is more important than anything. She would do anything for them, it played a major role in making sure everyone wanted to continue on the journey they were all fighting for. If Anne was not a part of this hiding, who knows what would have happened. I'm so glad I was able to be taught a lesson from such an aspiring young woman, who had a horrible fate. We can not even comprehend the full story on what went on in the attic. There could've been much more terrible situations that happened in hiding that we will never know about. Nobody can judge anything that happened in hiding, because they will never truly know how it felt to be cooped up for two years. We should all give the Frank family our most respect. Especially to have a little girl who believed in people so
Mrs.Frank has courage when they have to go into hiding she fills in every one with courage as bad things happen threw out the time they live in the annex. She was frightened but also very sweet and generous when knew people came in. Mrs.Frank did not understand Anne that well but loved her very much and had courage in her daughters and family and friends no matter what condition they were in.
The story of Anne Frank is probably one of the most recognized and well known in the world. The experiences she and her family suffered through as they hid from the Nazis during the Holocaust. Their story is well documented in Anne’s own words through her diary. She revealed the horror and difficulties her family faced as they hid in an attic (the annex) for two years from the Nazis. Somehow, despite starvation, hours of total silence, and being separated from the outside world, she maintained a belief that man was still capable of humanity. In her diary, she stated, “In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart.” How is it possible for someone who endured what she endured to still have kindness, optimism, and hope?
“It's a wonder I haven't abandoned all my ideals, they seem so absurd and impractical. Yet I cling to them because I still believe in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart.” (Anne Frank) Anne Frank was one of the many children who fell victim to the Holocaust during the World War II. Anne’s story is nothing short of a tragedy; she died at the early age of fifteen from Typhus while being held by the Nazi Regime, in the concentration camp Bergen-Belsen. Before dying, Anne and her family went into hiding and lived secretly in her father's office building in the Netherlands. While living in the “Annex,” a secret hiding place, she developed many interests such as reading and writing. Anne is famous because she is one of the best-known victims of the Holocaust, her story has been shared with millions in a publication of her diary, and through her writing’s she introduces many people to the massacre and its horror.
Anne Frank was a young jewish girl who was constantly running from the nazis taking over Germany. She was strong through hard times and never wanted to give up. Even when she was scared she stayed strong. She is a big influence because she shows that now matter how hard times are you can make it through them. Anne Frank is a kind, positive, and caring person. She has stated that "In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart." She is kind to everyone after they are rude to her and call her many names. She takes most of the positives out of a negative situation. Also, she's just a caring person in general to everyone she meets. Anne Frank has risked so many things going into hiding in the secret annex but she always found the best in it. She's a hero and a role model to many people.
Could you imagine having to go into hiding and fighting for your life only at the age of 13? Well, Anne Frank had no choice but to do just that. Anne Frank was very important because even it a time like that she was very honest in her diary and shows everyone what it could be like for a Jew back then. Even during all the tragedy that happened in her life, she said, "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." The quote that was found in her diary dated July 1944, which were several months before she perished in a concentration camp. To me, this shows that Anne Frank was a brave, powerful, along with a courageous young woman. Even kids now of days could never do the things she did because our biggest concern
The Holocaust, a morbid atrocity that made people question humanity, was the cause of millions of deaths. One of those victims of this brutality was Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl who hid from the Nazis along with her family. Although she was merely ordinary, Anne Frank kept a diary which became a significant, historical artifact in the modern world as it details her account of concealing her identity from the outside world. Her story, told in an innocent perspective, allows individuals to reflect the dreadful events of the Holocaust and acknowledge how far we have come since then. Even though she died along with millions of other victims from the Holocaust, her spirit still exists thanks to her articulately written words in her diary which is now considered one of the most famous works of literature. Anne Frank’s legacy still lives on today because her story provides a primary source of a dark period in history, insightful contemplation of humanity, and motivation for people to stand up against unjustified persecution.
The article, “The Girl Who Lived Forever”, by Kristen Lewis, describes the hardships of Anne Frank, a Jewish girl, and her family, who like millions of other Jews, perished at the hands of the Nazis during WWII. Anne Frank lived during one of the most terrifying and horrific historical events the world has ever seen, the Holocaust. She and her family managed to survive for 2 long years in hiding, by living in a secret annex behind her father’s pectin factory. In August of 1944, the SS captured Anne and the others hiding in the annex. All but Otto Frank, Anne’s father, perished in the Nazi concentration camps. Though they lived through unspeakable and unimaginable challenges, Anne, her family and their friends showed a tremendous amount of courage trying to defy Hitler and his evil regime.
Don’t you hate it when your family and strangers treat you in a harsh way. Anne Frank was treated harshly by some people in the secret annex people would yell at her call her spoiled lazy and was always telling her what to do. But some people treated her nicely like Peter VanDaan and her dad in a way that made her feel loved by some people around her. Anne was a twelve year old girl when she was forced into hiding because she was a Jew in Nazi territory during WW2. Anne is treated by the people in the annex in many ways and that effects her character in such a way that changes her character.
Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who went into hiding during the Holocaust because the Jews were being sent to concentration camps. When Anne went into hiding she took her diary with her and in it she recorded her story. One line in her diary that stood out was the quote, “Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart.” On this issue I agree with Anne. That despite whatever evils a person may have committed, they are good at heart.
Anne Frank, a famous victim of the Holocaust said this “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” Anne Frank was once a free woman in this world. She didn’t have to go into hiding, fear getting caught, or worse, possibly dying.
Another reason why Anne Frank had a huge impact on the world was because it has so much respect for her and her family. They had to put up with their family, the Vann Dans, and a complete stranger, for two long years. Also they couldn’t go outside, talk or move
Anne Frank once said in her diary that her dream was to become a published author and to live beyond her death. Even when living in a cramped space with little to eat and not much to do for two years she kept her dream alive by studying new languages, reading books about history and keeping her diary. She remained positive even in these tough conditions by saying that she was going to write multiple books when the war was over and become a bestselling author. Now, over 70 years after her death Anne’s diary is being read in classrooms all over the world and she is one of the most discussed Jewish victims of the Holocaust. The diary has touched many people and given the whole world an idea of what it was like to be a Jew during the war. Therefore,
