When heroes come to mind we think of ordinary people who just save others. No that is not true but real heroes do more that that. A hero is a person who is self- sacrificing and unselfish. They fight for what is right, and would do anything for their people, or inspired people to do the right thing or moral. To support my information I have three examples of a true hero
To start off one hero that is famous for their works his Che Guevara. Indeed he was a true hero. For example Che lead a Cuban Revolution against the Batista Government. This act secured the freedom of many people in Cuba, and corrupt tyrannical Government. Che Guevara symbolized a hero because he did what was right, and was not selfish. As a result today, Cuba has a fair
Many heroes exists in todays world. Some are just fictional but the real ones are the ones worth mentioning. A true hero is a person who is willing to sacrifice everything for the well being of others. they're giving personalities cause them to give everything they can to help others. They are constantly in a race to fight for something beneficial to all.
A single mother sacrifices her life for her child’s. A fire fighter runs into a burning building to save a dog and her pups. A soldier dies on the battlefield for his country. These people are all examples of heroes. A hero is “a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities” (Hero).
What does a hypersexual Argentinian revolutionary called "the butcher" have to do with protests on American college campuses during the 1960s and 1970s? As it turns out, quite a bit. Che Guevara, the aforementioned revolutionary, was a rallying call for the American college students involved in these protests. The college students saw him as a manifestation of justice martyred and saw his beliefs as aligning with their own. During the 1960s and into the 1970s, protests occurring on American college campuses created an atmosphere of rebellion. College students wanted a symbol to represent this spirit, so they chose Che Guevara, despite the fact that he was a ruthless mass-murderer. College students used him as an icon to represent themselves,
Che Guevara is a legend in several countries. He?s most famous for being a leading figure in the Cuban Revolution in the late 1950s as Communist ideals spread through the island nation 90 miles south of Florida. After the Cuban Revolution, Guevara headed to South America as a guerilla leader who tried to topple several governments there.
Ernesto Guevara commonly known all over the world as Che Guevara was an Argentine medical practitioner turned Marxist. Che became influential in the Cuban revolution during the 1950s. Che Guevara was born on June 14, 1928 in Rosario located in the Eastern Argentinean province of Santa Fe. He was the oldest of the four siblings; his parents, Ernesto Guevara Lynch who was a part-Irish Engineer, and his mother, Celia de la Serna were prominently rich individuals who held left wing political views. Che was also influenced during his childhood by acquaintances whose parents had died or been exiled during the Spanish civil war. As a youngster, overcoming his health problems was his sole aim; he was descried as a restless character, a trait that resulted
“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself” (Campbell 1). When we think of heroes most of us think of movie stars or professional athletes, but it’s not always about your popularity or talent it can also be about how you help society. What I think make a great hero is someone who is able to overcome his or her obstacles in life, is highly motivated, and has plenty of bravery.
If someone were to ask a group of people to give an example of a hero, what would the answers be? Most would probably use fictional characters like Batman or Spider Man. Others might use real people like the police or someone serving in the army. Are these people really heroes though? Sure, they risk their lives for the good of others, but the soldiers and police are paid, and Batman, Spider Man, and all the other superheroes are designed to fall under the stereotypical definition of a hero. Therefore, true heroes are saviors and persevere for the greater good, never showing weakness.
Yo soy Fidel Castro. Dirigí la Revolución Cubana. I was the heart of the Cuban Revolution. Without me, history in the modern age wouldn't have been the same. I overthrew the Batista regime in Cuba with the help of my former friend, Che Guevara. He was a good one, until he left me. His idiocy cost him his life. Why go to Bolivia when you could’ve stayed in Cuba with me? I am the most important Latin-American leader in this room. I led and started a revolution. I united Cuba under one party. I gave my country freedom from the clutches of American evil. Che left me because he didn’t wanna work hard and get his hands dirty for this government. He was just scared.
Castro, Guevara and their small army captured a major city in Cuba and forced Batista to
A true hero is an ordinary person who would risk their lives to save others. “A hero is not a man in a cape with tights on, the ability to fly, run fast, or even shoot lasers”. A hero doesn’t try to show off his moves in of a crowed, instead he would be risking his life for someone he doesn’t even know. A hero would run into a burning building, not because he wants the attention. Heroes are brave people who sacrifice their lives for people around them who look up to them, instead of not carrying for others’ lives.
Che Guevara was a driving force in the revolutions of many countries. He started off in Cuba, and spread his rebellious and Marxist ideologies to other countries such as the Congo and Bolivia. These beliefs and his actions eventually led him to being executed. Che Guevara was a major figure in the Cuban Revolution and sealed his legacy using guerilla warfare to become victorious in the revolution. He has cemented his legacy in these countries and is still used as a driving force for rebellion, even though the impact on these countries turned out to be negative in the long run.
“A heroic death, like a martyr’s death, is not a defeat but a triumph.” (4:1) Ernesto Guevara de la Serna was born and raised in Argentina on June 14, 1928. (1:2) While growing up he observed poverty in the masses and realized that the only solution lay within violent revolution. (2:2) Che Guevara should be considered a leader and legacy because he was an important part of the Cuban revolution, defined Cuba’s policies and his own views through many speeches and writings, and aided liberation movements around South America.
During his career as a revolutionary, Guevara attempted to spread revolution. Guevara prepared a group of Cuban guerillas for the liberation movement in Bolivia. He hoped to use his small army to rouse a revolution in Bolivia . As soon as he got to Bolivia, he was able to achieve victory. He was even able to establish a base there which branched out in parts of South America. This resulted to the spread of revolution throughout the whole continent. The operation was, however, a failure. The following are the reasons why it failed. First, Guevara’s troops were not able to gain the trust of the many Bolivian peasants especially that his troops were consisted of mostly recruits. The very disadvantage of recruitments is the poor moral of the people and they may lack knowledge of the enemy which leads to uncertain
Che Guevara was a doctor, a Marxist revolutionary, and to this day a now known cultural pop icon who is recognized around the world. During Guevara’s early life, he was raised in an upper-middle-class family and excelled in school; Guevara graduated from the University of Buenos Aires. While Guevara was in school, he traveled to areas in South America where poverty was present. While Guevara was traveling, he noticed people working on the farms and living on the streets and blamed it on capitalism and imperialism. Guevara is now known as a legacy and pop icon on t-shirts, mugs, and posters, but other people think he is a true monster. While others think negatively of him, Guevara helped build Cuba into a communist country therefore, Guevara
I decided to write this research paper because we were assigned to find an issue or subject within Latin America to write about. One of the most widely known and influential revolutionary figure in the history of Latin America is Ché Guevara. Ché knew how to use his intelligence and judgment in all the circumstances he encountered taking advantage of each moment as if it was a highly intensive chess game he was sincerely
