Child Abuse 2 Just about all children have many different experiences that will have a major impact on their lives before they reach full maturity. A child can face a lot of dangerous things from the environment surroundings them which might seriously affect their whole life. The definition of Federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act: Child abuse is any action from adult to a child that can be harmful to the child’s body or mental (Children Welfare Information Gateway 2007). In the year 2005 there were about 3.6 million investigations by Child Protective Services Agencies in the U.S. an estimated 899,000 children (24.97%) were confirmed to be victims of child abuse (Children’s Bureau 2005). This type of pain can be extremely difficult to deal with, and it can also affect the way you live your life for a lifetime. To prevent child abuse there are several methods we as parents education, family supporting program, and child welfare can consider. First we can organize the optional course for young couples to give them the education they need to raise a healthy family. Second, we need to deploy some of the social programs like care-preparing or financial sponsors. This is needed to support families that are living under poverty in hopes to increase their income. The main goal is for the family’s finance to become more stable and this will give the children a better health care and education. Last but not least I think that the government should pay more attention, by offering more assistance to children with disabilities. I feel that the more assistance available a child with disability will have endless opportunities. In conclusion, I feel that whenever we do not take care of our children child abuse is something that can easily occur.

Although each man and woman have their own problems to deal with I don’t think that it’s fair to put the burdens on a child. Child abuse can be a complicated issue to deal with and to understand. With that being said I feel that education is the key. This is truly the best method to prevent child abuse, the more a person knows the father
