Authorization is an imperative component for any society. Civic Mirror taught our class the necessity for bureaucracy in today’s life. Government enforces correct behavior in organizing every individual for further equality. In civic mirror, Congress composed laws to reinforce civility. If citizens acted against this reinforcement, a trial would be held. In addition to emphasized legislation, administration of necessary goods also justifies the importance for government. The provided prices for essentials were very inexpensive compared to the private marketers. The primary action the authority takes is implementing God-given rights. In the taught simulation, every individual was granted the right to a fair trial, for every case required an impartial jury. The importance of government is integral in the provision of necessary guidance to its citizens as shown through Civic Mirror.
Government encourages each resident to sustain appropriate conduct. Efficiently run communities abide by the correct behavior the authority institutes. To establish reverence in society, authorization constitutes impartial court systems. During our first

During the civic mirror simulation, taxation and the ownership of business hexes provided the government with a spacious budget, allowing taxpayers to redeem a payment of above 1,000. This fund guided disadvantaged families to purchase food, insurance, education, and health care. Additionally, the authorization maintained prices around 900 dollars left the in the private sector. Jesse Price, our judge, owned the health hex and was charging 950 per unit while the government was charging 50 for an equally necessary unit, education. Our community of Beach Mountain was able to prevent others from reaching levels of poverty by saving the citizens almost 2,000 dollars. The prices lead by bureaucracy in Beach Mountain improved the lives of citizens, as it does in real

Over the length of this course, we have discussed several aspects of politics. We have studied citizenship and obligations to society as a citizen, justice and what it means to us as individuals, and how to go about enacting change within a community and around the world. Some of the most important topics from this class included the characteristics, duties, and obligations of rulers of government. In addition to the concept of rulers, we also studied the notion of authority and the moral and metaphysical implications of authority to individuals ' autonomy. Within each concept of study, we read works from many authors with conflicting ontologies, constructed from their differing views on human nature.
The government’s role for the people is to challenge them like how contestants from “The Amazing Race” or “Fear Factor” are challenged. Government should be like a reality competition show filled with adventure and danger (Amazing Race, 2003) (Fear Factor, 2005). Just like the government in “The Hunger Games” (Collins, 2008). People should compete for rights and liberties. The competitions can be held under the government’s supervision. These competitions can involve multiple life daring tasks and only the ones that survive win. The losers or the ones not so fortunate die in the process, a true fight to the death. Government works from a federal standpoint and does not get involved in local affairs.
Many believe that order should be applied by the government; though it should be allowed to a certain limit and should not interfere in a citizen’s personal life. However others believe that full freedom should be given to individuals and that nothing should be enforced as it brings along many differences between citizens. This
In any given constitution a nation, the recording of bills of rights has been a gradual process. All the aspects of life in society were done with respect to the law. The society requires being guided by certain principles and guidelines that would define and evaluate each and every aspect of their lives. To ensure that the entire society remained focused and concentrated in the given policies and guidelines, they recorded in the constitution and made available to each and every member of the society for the purpose of doing reviews. The action of the people would be judged in accordance with the constitution. With society running several errands towards the realization of development, many fields had to be covered. Criteria for the operation of the people would require significant efforts to accomplish the set objectives. Violations in the society occur either due to misunderstanding or lack of awareness of the rights present in the constitution. Any form of violation is evaluated by the appropriate form of punishment offered. (Hand, 1965)
Citizens develop this law to satisfy their wants and fears as individuals in the society as citizens live by their common interest but this sense of fear as holds the society in place together. Municipals law is about formulation, developing tools that have strength in numbers, establishes that all of us work together. It is then defined how parts obey the whole, so the whole can be possible. Without a superior authoritative, we fall into isolation because we need the supreme who govern us of ‘what is right and forbid what is wrong’ or Superior to the inferior, meaning, the whole to the part or state to the individual, which gives respect of their existence as citizens and the state not about citizen’s being a creature of God.
In spite of the fact that law capacities to advantage society it can likewise reflect and strengthen the social disparity found in bigger society. American history is loaded with case of two related parts of law and imbalance. The utilization of law to encourage social disparity and the effect of disparity on the causes of law and the operation of the lawful framework.
Government is an administration defined by the Constitution, but is also a constantly adjusting foundation by the efforts of its citizens. By Litherland (2014), government is defined as policies set in order to lead a body of people (p. 395). Over the span of time, the idea of government has been stretched, changed, and applied to various communities throughout both the nation and the world. Whether it was back in the eighteenth century, current, or in the very near future—government has existed and will continue to exist for its people and the nation it has built its foundation upon. With the use of multiple authors, those of: “Difference between Direct and Representative Democracy” (n.d.), “Federalism - Dividing Power between States and the
Every human being deserves to have Individual rights and they are a very important part of the justice system. Without individual rights things would be chaotic therefore, public order is brought into the system so that everyone’s individual rights are in place for each individual to use as a backbone for guidelines of what is acceptable and what is not. Although, there are disadvantages and advantages of both individual rights and public order they are still very essential to maintain order.
A logical starting point in an investigation of legitimate government would seem to be an account of the original purpose of government. Problems arise, though, in discovering this original purpose; any and all attempts seem to consist of mere speculation. Government is a social convention created by man.* It is doubtful whether or not there can ever be an empirically accurate account of the
The role of a government in creating order in society is to establish a set of laws to protect the people, their property, and their rights;
For all of history there has existed the struggle between the strong and the weak. The establishment of government gives the power to a particular group to decide the amount of freedom the majority is allowed, however, though not ideal it provides necessary order. The benefits of security that limitations on freedom provides must be balanced with the individual's pursuit of happiness for citizens to be content. To prevent the governed majority from destabilizing the rulers and seeking power, the government will oppress political and personal freedom of thought. In result, the majority will live under the illusion of contentment and not wish to revolt; those enlightened to the idea that the government should be ruled by the governed, would associate happiness only with ignorance and consequently seek freedom.
After playing Civic Mirror for three years, I learned lessons that I never would have imagined of learning in grade 10 civics. The most important thing I discovered was the significance of participating and posessing initiative in order to be a successful member of society. During the first year, I did not make many trades as I had little money, was too nervous to raise my concerns in Town Hall and did not find it important to sue anyone in National Court. Along with preventing me from obtaining a high score, not participating restricted me from enjoying myself in Civic Mirror like others did. However, once I increased my participation and took the initiative to trade, I found that my grade in Civic Mirror increased, I looked forward to come to class and I spoke with people whom I had never talked to before. Secondly, Civic Mirror helped me realize the necessity of having a source of income in order to be a prosperous citizen. During the auction, I did not buy a hex as I had very little money and could not afford it. Although the money I had originally been given sufficed me for the first year, the lack of money made it very difficult to fulfill my family’s needs for the next two years. This experience allowed me to understand that when I grow up and become a self-sufficient member of society, it is extremely important that I have a secure source of income. Along with helping me fulfill my needs, the money that I
In the society illustrated by John Locke, the human nature is characterized as free and independent; however, the problem with society is that it has too many small inconveniences, which could be as trivial as a tree blocking the sidewalk. To solve these problems, a legitimate government, characterized by explicit consent, checks on institutions and the right to revolt by the people, is needed. The utmost legitimate government, in comparison to Thomas Hobbes and Jean-Jacques Rousseau, is based on John Locke’s social contract in Second Treatise of Government because each aspect of a legitimate government protects the citizen’s life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Through each aspect, the people can actively participate in government to prevent the sovereign from taking advantage of their powers to further their own goals.
