Game 4 of the NBA Finals are tonight and a potential sweep could happen as the Warriors are up 3 games to 0. One of the Warriors star players Draymond Green commented on what it would feel like to win the title in Clevland 'Celebrating on their floor, in their locker room...it'd be very satisfying'. Draymond's mom was heckled on Wednesday's game at Clevland which Draymond then critisized the Clevland fans as rude. The Warriors have dominated clevland all series and I think they will do the same tonight and get revenge on Clevlands 3-1 comeback on them the year before. A part of the 3-0 lead in the Warriors newest addition to there team in Kevin Durant who they picked up in the free agency this offseason. Durant
Without Klay’s playoff record for most three pointers, the Warriors wouldn’t even be in the Finals according to the article “21 facts you might not know about the golden state warriors” its states ; “Someone else he loves a lot: wife and chef Ayesha Curry. They first met at a church group. Years later, they reconnected in LA and strolled along the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their first date. Ayesha was in LA pursuing acting; her most notable gig was an appearance in an episode of Hannah Montana.” This proves he love his wife and his family. According to the article “21 fact you might not know abou the golden state warriors” it states; “ Another major player is Draymond Green. He’s super passionate, but maybe too much so. He’s at risk for being suspended over committing too many flagrant fouls, like “accidentally” kicking someone in the balls during a recent game.” They call Draymond green bully in the point cause he will hit you any where to win a game. According to the article “21 facts you might not know about the golden state warriors” it states ; “Back in the 9th grade,
Stephen Curry’s return was nothing less than positive deviance as he heroically overcame trials. During the first round of the NBA Playoffs Curry had suffered from a sprained right Knee which disabled his game appearance for 3 weeks. Although his injury was unfortunate Curry spent vast amounts of time rehabbing throughout recovery period. Due to Curry’s breath taking performance in Game four of the Western Semi
I failed AP English. I had missed the second quarter of the school year, almost completely, due to… technical difficulties. I got discharged from the hospital mid-February, and for the remainder of junior year, the majority of my waking thoughts revolved around passing 11th grade. With motivational speeches coming at me from my parents, friends, and teachers, I began to believe I had a chance of passing the year. I did my best, which apparently was not enough. My teacher had picked up on my tremendous amount of effort, and on the last day of school, bumped my grade up to a low D — just enough to pass. I was not exactly about to put my grade on display or anything, but I passed! Technically. This is not one of the underdog-who-succeeded stories. The real success for me was (look away, it’s cliché) realizing my best was enough. I sound disgusting.
"I love this game, I love playing and love competing. And really, really missed being out there with my teammates," Curry, who scored 40 big points in Game 4 including the 17 points he scored during the overtime period, said.
The article written by Bruce Jenkins starts off by saying that the regular season of the Warriors was a “bumbling mess”. This article was written to be read generally by the people of San Francisco and Warriors fans. The Warriors went from a historic 73-9 record in the 2016 season, to a 67-15 record in the 2017 season, and a recent 58-24 record in the 2018 season. At the beginning of the article, Bruce talks about factors that have led to the teams bumpy season like not having a reliable center. He says that the team has reached a point to where the team’s centers are not feared by any postseason opponent. Towards the end of the article, Bruce talks about the future of the team and things to consider. He talks about possible matchups and how the team isn’t ready defensively to play, even if Stephen Curry is on the court. With the article discussing the Warriors’ downward spiral, the article uses the devices of ethos, logos, and pathos.
This game is a difficult one to predict because the Cavs' looked like they have regrouped
Assuming the office of chief Superintendent of Education in Upper Canada, Egerton immediately swung into action as he continued to make countless creative, as well as, extensive changes targeted to remodelling the Upper Canada school system whose general control of the school was within his jurisdiction- the Chief Superintendent. Egerton had the prerogative to “set standards for the curriculum; supervised the training, inspection and examination of teachers; and oversaw the selection and distribution of textbooks, through a central depository and press plant which encouraged the publication of works by home-grown authors. Libraries were organized in every school”. (Claude W.D, 2002, para 7)
Although I may seem to be the worst basketball player in existence, watching NBA games astonishingly is one of my favorite things to do. This is most true when Wardell Stephen Curry is playing. Steph Curry is a member of the Golden State Warriors. Currently the team has a record of 46-4, which makes most of the games exciting and relaxing to watch. Watching Steph step out on the court, always giving his all, happens to be very inspirational. One can tell when Steph is shooting deep threes that he’s not just in it for the money, but he has a genuine love for the sport.
I thought they were happy to see me, but when I opened the door to our shack, I saw that everything we owned was neatly packed in cardboard boxes. I was shocked! We were moving? Since when? I walked further into our shack and saw Roberto and Papa carrying boxes to the Carcanchita. I then saw Mama holding her pot walking over to the Carcanchita very carefully trying her best to not step on one of my younger sibling’s toys.
I’m not so blinded by my love for Cleveland sports teams that I can’t admit: The Golden State Warriors are the best team in the NBA right now. That doesn’t mean I can’t hate them unconditionally.
LeBron has been re-crowned, and Steph’s reputation which he has been building over the past couple of years is cracking. In the finals, Steph scored 22.6 ppg exactly, down from his 30 ppg in the regular season. Curry is still a great player: He is the best shooter of all time, a supreme ball handler and can dish it out when he likes. But these playoffs showed that he can be stopped. On the offensive end, Steph wasn’t the guaranteed 30-a-night scorer we had gotten so accustomed to. Teams started to get in his face; the Thunder, with their strength in Adams and Kanter, their length in Roberson and KD, and their speed and hunger in Westbrook harried Steph and his Warriors into some truly abysmal performances. On the defensive end, Steph revealed his true colors. He’s arguably the best offensive weapon in the league, but defensively he’s nothing close to elite. Westbrook and Irving took advantage of this, going right at Curry’s throat and for the most part giving him the
The Warriors scored a close 106-100 win over the Phoenix Sun at the Talking Stick Resort Arena to improve the team’s record to two wins in three games played this week. However, the last season’s Coach of the Year winner admitted that his players were frustrated with how slowly everything is coming along during the game.
No one is prepared to simply concede the title to the Warriors, but teams have to be cognoscente about the reality of what it means to face them anywhere in the playoffs. To this point in the season, the Warriors have proven to be the most difficult team to beat in league history. With a current record of 55-5 with 22 games remaining, they are on pace to win 75 games. That's a difficult number to get one's mind around. It would be on par with a MLB team winning 149 games in a
Heading to Oracle for the Warriors Game. Getting VIP seats to meet the one and only Stephan Curry. I go to the game I see all the Warriors players on the court preparing for the game. “Wow what an awesome view!” I said “I can’t wait til the game starts!” I go down to the court and get ready to watch the game. I sit down and the clock is at 5 minutes before the game starts. 5 mins later the countdown before the game ends and the game is about the start. I look around me and the crowd is so vibrant and loud. They are proud that we are the 2015 champions. Curry and the rest of the players get on the court, while the opposing team which is a finals rematch of 2015 if the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers have Lebron and Kyrie, two of one of the best players
With the Oklahoma City Thunder taking a 3-2 series lead in the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors the reaction is split between counting the Warriors out and expecting a comeback. I'm counting the Warriors out and my argument is convincing, just watch Game 5. Two of three of the next games may be in Golden State where the Warriors set a record by staying undefeated in the regular season for a long time, but the Warriors can't hang in OKC and the Thunder only need one win. The Thunder is clicking in so many ways, and it should lead them to a title.
