To start off, in this last quarter of the school year, I want to accomplish the three goals I want to accomplish for the final quarter. My first goal I want to accomplish is getting A’s and A+’s in Math, Science, and Commarts class. Also I want to accomplish this goal because I struggle when it comes to handing it homework to get the grades I am hoping for the final quarter. Although when it is time for her too put my grades in the grade book it is a C, D, of F. I will have to accomplish doing my homework with my mom and in team study with Mr.Morgan so I get A’s and A+'s for my grades. To add on, my second goal I want to accomplish is turning in my homework right away not at the last minute. I want to accomplish this goal because, I struggle
For my language Arts goals i am going to set three goals for myself. The first goal is to complete every assignment that i get this semester and i am going to try hard to get the best grade possible on that one assignment. My second goal is when i get all my assignments back i am going to try to get the best grade possible which is a 5 that is why i am going to try my hardest on every assignment that i get to try to get 5’s on every assignment i get. My last goal for Language Arts is to stop being to talkative because
This chapter discusses goal setting, and how to reach them. Some of the principles of goal setting are ones that I need to focus on. My main issue with procrastination is setting moderately difficult but realistic goals. When I think about time management, I always set these crazy goals that I think I can do in a week. I have not always been terrible at making goals that have a low chance of achieving it. “Goals that are too difficult to achieve can cause frustration, reduced confidence, and poor performance” (Weinberg, 2015). This is exactly what causes the most stress when it comes to students who are told to make goals – we insist on making unrealistic goals
Keeping track of my academic goals this school year is very important to me. These goals consist of obtaining a 4.0 both semesters. To achieve this, I plan to pay attention in class and make sure to study for tests and quizzes. Also improving upon my procrastination so I am not finishing a project I was assigned two weeks ago the night before. I aim to accomplish this by working to have 50% of a project done, 50% through the given amount of time to finish the
For my first goal which is keeping my grades up, I will come up with a startagi. The reason I wants to get good grades is because it will help with future struggles. But in order to keep my grades up the entire year, I am going to need to ask for help more often so I understand. Not only am I going to have to ask for help but I need to not procrastinate. Im also going to need to focus more on school instead of other things.
For my first goal, it is imperative that I obtain an 80% or higher in all my classes for at least one semester during my first two years at University of Maryland (UMD). Accomplishing this goal will guarantee my continuation of the Academic Achievement Program (AAP), and having a B or higher in every class will exempt me from falling below a 2.0. This is SMART goal because it states exactly what I want to achieve for all my classes in one semester. It is measurable and timely because I have given myself four chances to achieve one goal for only one semester. It is achievable if I take advantage of all of my resources, such as my professors, peers, tutors, and the writing center. I will utilize these
Some of the goals this year is to get good grades on most of the subjects. What I will do to accomplish that is I will listen in class and study for more than one day. Something I’ve done right I want to continue doing is to read a lot of books and writing excellent essays. I also want to do better in Social Studies. I will do this by studying history facts every week.
The last goal I set for myself is using my time for wisely. Every time I would come back home from school, instead of doing my homework, I would either turn on the TV or use my phone. Later on, I motivated myself to do something more productive. For example, doing and finishing my homework, because I wanted to maintain good grades. I knew that if I wanted to make my parents proud, I would have to do good in school. My parents were my motivation to always try my hardest no matter what.
Some of the ways I would like to achieve my goals for this school year is to do all my work.Another way That can help me is to turn in all my work when it is supposed to be turned in.I will also make sure I earn all the credits I can this school year.
Although, there are times in my two years here in RHAM Middle School where things did get hard, but I still worked hard and tried my best and did everything to be best ability. I made sure I worked hard in all my subjects and I made sure I kept all my grades up even during sports. There are many things that I have accomplished in my middle school year, and there are many things that I am proud of. One of my accomplishments were having fantastic grades in all my subjects this year. In my seventh grade year I didn’t have really good grades, I guess because it was my first grade in middle school it was just stressful and nerve racking. My main goal this year was to try a lot harder than I did last year, stay focused on my school work inside school and out, and make sure to keep up my grades and have no C’s during any quarter
I hold myself to high standards and believe that if I do, I will be successful in most things to everything. Besides my personal goals, I also have goals for this school year in the Everest core. I want to be more balanced by leveling out my school priorities with my extracurricular priorities. I will do all of my schoolwork is done by 6:00 pm, and then I will allow myself time for my extracurricular activities, like dance. I also want to improve my grades in Science and Social Studies. I will do this by studying for 15 minutes in each subject every night before putting my attention elsewhere. Finally, I want to improve my attitude by being more courteous and kind to others. With the teachers and students at Century Middle School, I can receive the help that I need to keep me in line. All I want to do is fulfill these goals to make those around me proud of my accomplishments throughout the year. These are my Everest goals for this school year, and I believe that if I try to stay on top of my work, I can complete and fulfill my
I have made a lot of progress towards my last goal. I always had my homework done ahead of time and now it has become a habit. I planned in my planner one week ahead so I could easily see all the stuff I needed to do.
This semester at AUM I have identified three SMART goals. My first goal is to form better study habits and quit being such a heavy procrastinator. In order to be successful, I have to break my bad habits. The things I did in high school will not work in college. My second goal is to earn a 4.0 GPA this semester. I came to college to succeed. Since I am paying for my tuition it would be in my best interest to earn the highest GPA I can in order to have a better chance at receiving scholarships. My last goal is to maximize my potential by utilizing the different techniques I learned about my learning style. If I am able to this, I have been assured that I will learn more effectively. Hopefully by doing this I will actually retain the information
To achieve this success for next year and the rest of this year I will need to put school first over everything. I’ve had problems over the years with not doing homework and putting other things first before school. After that, I will have to try harder than I have the past two and a half years. As a freshman and sophomore I did not really care about grades as much. I didn’t care to get C’s. I didn’t realize how important grades can actually be. If they determine whether you or the other person who got better grades should be accepted into a college or get the job you wanted.
Making all a’s for the last 2 quarters is a very important goal to me. I will work hard in math and English to bring my d+ from last quarter up to a+ . I’m going to do what’s necessary to make these changes . Moving my seat away from distractions. Ignoring talkers when we’re supposed to be quiet. Making all a’s is my ultimate goal !
My goal is to get an A on a math test. I want this because I have trouble with math and I would really like to get an A on a test. I think that in order to complete this goal I need to study more, I don’t usually study for math because I think it’s more challenging to practice for math. Another way to get better is to finish all assignments; I don’t always finish my assignments because I have questions about it or I don’t understand it. One more thing I can do is work in class, I sometimes just want to take my assignment home so that I don’t have to work during class but I should really work in class because my math teacher won’t be at home with me to help me. This is why I want to get a good grade on a math test.
