Colorado State University is growing rapidly in size. My fellow peers and I have noticed the increase in population size, it is especially obvious when in a dining hall. Currently, we only have six dining halls on campus. I believe that the increasing study body calls for an increase in the number of dining halls available for proper accommodation.
There are several reasons why an investment in expansion would be beneficial to the university. As of right now, the number of dining halls do not seem to meet the needs of those using them. There have been several occasions that my friends and I have been stuck in a line leading all the way outside of a building. I understand that structural expansion is pricey, but overcrowded, run down, and
The food court revenues are declining because the food options are not appealing to MC students. Students like the options that are quick to order and obtained food, while maintaining the food quality. They like the option of customizing their foods. Therefore, build your own options can be very appealing to MC students because its very customizable, reduces the wait time to order and obtained the food and the quality of the food will be on par to what students are looking for. The environment is another factor that is lacking because its less attractive seating. The seating needs to be comfortable and attractive. A mix of booths and tables will create an attractive yet comfortable environment for student to sit and eat in. By changing the food
Food plays an important role in our lives, especially in college. Food affects people financially, nutritionally, and educationally. The dining halls at Virginia State University are a major source of meals and food for students. Needless to say, it is important that those students can eat at these dining halls. The problem with this is that the cost of campus dining is way too expensive for the limited options we have.
Southern University A&M College welcomed Dr. J.S. Clark as the new African American leader and president in 1914 after the big move. As Dr. Clark as president, he made numerous improvements on campus and off campus. He established a Junior College, teacher-training curriculum, Agricultural Extension Program, a summer normal school, six brick buildings for instructional activities, five brick dormitories, and eleven wooden structures for the faculties. Before his retirement came, he funded money from the government to build a library, a football stadium, an administration building, a gymnasium, and additional dormitories. During this time period, Felton G. Clark, J.S. Clark only son, was one of Southern’s most promising
The annual increase of the tuition fee for the last five years is associated with the increase in the operating budget of the State University. Therefore, there is a need for the State University to cut down some of their operating cost and implement audit activities that should be carried of often to ensure that the quality of education offered matches the resources used and the future needs of the country. The university should also set a clear cut-line to ensure that students meet at least the minimum requirements for the admission to various courses. Another important parameter that needs to be implemented is the audit program that will ensure that teacher and lecture teaching in the state university meets the requirement for carrying
Two specific groups that I identify with as part of my decision to attend Columbia Southern University is based on my family and work. As an individual my choice to attend is based on my own desire to achieve a higher education in order to obtain a job that is satisfactory to the life and goals I have mapped out for myself. By having a job for which I have specifically attended school for, it will allow me to get and sustain a career conducive to my own happiness and prosperity. While my own individual choice to attend school is great, I have a family that encouraged me greatly in this decision. Both my mother and father, between the two, have a Master’s degree in criminal justice, and a Bachelor's degree in paramedic studies. Naturally

I believe that we, the student body, should have a student kitchen facility because it will give all students access to a kitchen, help students improve their cooking, and will be a great spot for students to get together and
This would be a safe haven for students to go to. It would be great to provide snacks or meals since some kids do not even eat after they have lunch at

A student resource facility is a vital aid for college students. The Reitz Union is a popular student resource facility for the students of the University of Florida to participate in various activities. The Reitz Union “was named after the 5th president of the University of Florida, J. Wayne Reitz” (ufl.edu). The Reitz Union strives to “enhance the student experience and enrich the campus community by providing dynamic learning opportunities, premiere programs, quality services and outstanding facilities for students and the university community” (ufl.edu). According to a report from a National Center for Education Statistics, in 2013, only 59 percent of the students in the institute took 6 years to gain their bachelor’s degree. Interesting news. Currently attending a Community College now and I wanted to graduate within a four-year range. Although college will be challenging, I will be successful by listening to advice from experts, using effective strategies, and understanding the value of college discussion.
For the third question each of the students had a different answer. For the fourth question all of the students answered with a strong 5. Last but not least, for the fifth question there was a variety of responses ranging from 2- 4. There are several ways to approach the food issue on campus. First, we can introduce food trucks, and line them up alongside the cafeteria. These food trucks will provide a wider choice when picking out what to eat. Second, we could put up brand name fast food restaurants like Burger King, Taco Bell, etc., in a central area like the cafeteria. Lastly, there could be caterers with a wide selection in their menus all around campus.
FIU was founded by Chuck Perry, Butler Waugh, Donald McDowell and Nick Sileo. It was founded in June 1965. A lot of colleges or universities are founded for a particular group, but this one wasn’t. It is located in Miami, FL, it hasn’t been moved over the years and its official address is 11200 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33199. So far no famous people have attended this school, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good university. The school official colors are blue and gold and their mascot is the
I have only attended the college for 2 months, yet I have plenty to speak about. Recalling to my first day, my most fervent issue comes to mind. The parking situation. I don’t mind walking an extra five minutes to get to class in the morning, I really don’t. However when it rains or snows, there are even fewer spots in the lots. Having to walk the extra five minutes in rain or sleet feels like an eternity. Putting it into perspective, I arrive around 8:40 AM. There are probably students who arrive past 9 AM that have to perform the snake-like movements of winding through the lanes. Desperately searching for a spot, only to have it taken away before their very eyes. My suggestion, either add another lot, especially for staff. I consistently
