Mr. Frank was a act of funny man ,an angry man, people didn’t call him Mr. frank all the time they call him Pim his nickname. Mr. Frank had a wife named Mrs. Frank her real name is Edith they have two girls named Anne Frank and Margot Frank. On the other hand Mr. Vandaan was staying with Mr. Frank and his wife and kids. Are jews and trap in the same place both have children that’s what they have in commoned.
Hana Brady and Anne Frank’s lives started out very happy and carefree, but then it all changed when the Nazis marched in. They both lived through the holocaust and they were oppressed and persecuted just because they were Jewish. Hana and Anne had very similar lives before the Holocaust, but very different family relationships and very different experiences during the war.
What are some similarities and some differences between the Frank’s and the Van Daan’s marriage? I think they are a lot of likes and differences between the two families. The only thing they will have to do is to read and recognize what they are reading. Both families are both German and there is a lot more likes and differences.
Have you ever wondered if Peter Vann Daan and Anne Frank are alike? There are many ways that they are the same and different. Their personalities, the way they act, and their feeling towards things are what make them unique.
Elizabeth Feldman- de Jang was born December 19th of 1916 in Amsterdam. Both of her parents were deaf and because of their disability, they were not observant Jews; it was simply too difficult to practice Judaism in a synagogue where there was no sign language. Other than having two deaf parents, Feldman would describe her childhood as normal and full of good times. The community she grew up in had a relatively low Jew population where everyone was close knit and because of that fact, she did not experience any anti-Semitism. Nathan Nothman was born July 15th of 1925 in Poland. Unlike Feldman, his family practiced Judaism and lived within a Jewish community. Poland was very gentile orientated place and because of the unequal distribution of Jews in correlation with gentiles, Nothman experienced anti-Semitism at an early age.
The play, “The Diary of Anne Frank” tells the story of a girl named Anne Frank and the events that occur during her time hiding from the Nazis in the Holocaust with her family, the Van Daans, and Mr. Dussel. While the two families were in hiding, they all suffered tremendously with limited food portions and the need to remain quiet in order to not get caught. During this period, if a person were to be not fit in the Aryan race, which consists of blonde hair, blue eyes, and tallness, then they were to be sent to concentration camps or be killed. Although all of the characters were put into the same circumstances, Mr. Van Daan drastically took advantage of the rest of the Annex. He was portrayed to be selfish and gluttonous because of the fact that he would do anything in order to obtain cigarettes and because he has been given or taking a significant amount of food that is supposed to be for the whole Annex. .
Mr. and Mrs. van Daan and their son Peter (who is a few years older than Anne) are also in hiding with the Franks. Anne’s adolescence is spent hidden from the outside world. She’s cooped up in tiny rooms, tiptoeing around during the day. After almost 2 years in hiding they are discovered and deported to concentration camps. Anne’s father, Otto Frank, is the only one of the eight people to survive. After her death Anne becomes world famous because of the diary she wrote while in hiding. Miep Gies is a Dutch woman who assists the annex residents with food, clothing, books, and companionship. She cheerfully assists them with the things they need and pitches in to give them holidays. Along with Elli, she retrieves and saves Anne's diary from the floor after the annex residents are arrested (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miep_Gies). Miep Gies and her husband took action and helped their Jewish friends. This situation affected their daily lives in many different ways. The fact that Miep and her husband helped the Jews, knowing that they
In the Diary of Anne Frank, the two characters I chose to compare and contrast are Mrs. Frank and Mrs. Van Daan. These two ladies are similar and different in many ways. They are both middle aged women that live in Amsterdam. When the Holocaust began in 1939, Mrs. Frank and Mrs. Van Daan moved into the secret Annex with their families.
Mrs. Frank is more modest than Mrs. Van Daan. Mrs. Frank does not flirt with the other men. Mrs. Van Daan on the other hand she pulls her shirt up in front of Mr. Frank and doesn’t even care. Mrs. Van Daan she is sassy but Mrs.
During the holocaust there were 3 teen agers named Anne, Margo frank and peter Van Daan. Anne is 13 years old and peter and Margo are 16 years old. Peter is the only sibling in his family but Margo and Anne are sisters. Peter has a cat named musty but Margo and Anne doesn’t have a pet. Anne and Margo are Mr. and Mrs. Frank. Peter is the child of MR. and Mrs. Van Daan.
2.Otto Frank and “Putti” Van Daan are the fathers of the families. Mr. Frank’s family consists of two daughters, Anne and Margot, and his wife. The members in Mr. Van Daan’s family include his son, Peter, and his wife. When combined and put into a cramped region they are bound to find trouble. With limited amount of food, the members of the families needed to divide the food evenly. This did not satisfy Mr. Van Daan. One night he was caught red handed stealing bread from the cabinet. This
Would you jump from a 50ft precipice? In “The ravine” Vinny and Joe-Boy are fifteen years old,Hawaiian. They are best friends. They are going to the ravine to swim and cliff jump. Two weeks and one day before there visit , a boy jumped from the cliff Vinny and Joe-Boy are different in many ways and are similar in a few ways.
Frank and his brother Leon have things in common as well as differences in their personality fueled by the different childhood experiences they have undergone. The childhood experiences have an impact on how people behave towards the others and themselves in their lives later on. Frank had autism while Leon was a sociopath. Both Leon and Frank had affected interpersonal skills and world mostly keep to themselves. Both would no find the need to communicate with the other people. For Frank, he could not realize that people don't know what he already knows. The lack of the cognizance of the difference kept him from communicating. For Leon, some hatred came up in him and thus he could not talk to others.
Although not all people are selfish and greedy, the ones who are stick out like sore thumbs. In The Diary of Anne Frank, a play by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, a young girl and her family go into hiding in an annex along with a few acquaintances, and one selfish character stands out. The people need to go into hiding because they are Jewish and are living in Amsterdam during Hitler's rule. One of the men in hiding is Mr. Van Daan. Mr. Van Daan is a selfish man who betrays his family and friends for his own benefit and doesn't take their feelings into account.
The Frank family had two daughters, Margot and Anne. The Van Daans had a son named Peter. Margot and Peter were very similar in many ways, whereas Anne and Peter were similar in some ways and different in many. Anne Frank was a very bright teenage girl. She went to a Jewish secondary school where she got good grades and had lots of friends.
Hanging out and trying to stay cool Chillz was relaxing at the bus stop waiting for his friend Franky to return. The big difference between now and before was this time around Chillz was sipping on a 32 ounce of ice tea. This kept him nice and cool as he waited there for Franky to arrive. As he sat back he watched traffic go by Chillz thinking, "I wonder where Franky is? I know it cannot take him this long to go and get my inhaler."
