On January 14th 2016 was the first day of Composition II in Mrs. Henry's class. At around 10 she assigned groups. The groups were made up of all the people that sat in the same row. The people in my group consisted of Alex Grey, Steve Abron and Tyler Baxter. Our main objective at this time was to get to know one another. So, the questions asked to one another were about their hobbies, achievements and goals.

Initially when Mark began answering questions and introducing himself, it was very apparent that he is very compassionate and caring about his work and surroundings. Mark received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Later, through the trials and errors of life, he decided he wanted to pursue a teaching/coaching career and only needed to take one semester of classes at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa in order to receive his teaching degree. In addition, he received his master’s degree from the University of Southern Florida. Through many discussions with his wife and job experiences working at local banks here in Sioux Center, Mark has found that teaching and being involved as an athletic director is his passion and the job he truly enjoys.
When David Charles Johnson was a child, he wanted to become a professional football player. He always wanted to become a quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. As his parents raised him in Madison, Wisconsin, they encouraged him to try new things and would push him to do his best. David had a lean build with dark-brown hair and blue eyes. He participated in multiple sports, but he enjoyed baseball and football the most. In both sports, he enjoyed the throwing aspects of each game. He enjoyed pitching in baseball and being a quarterback in football. When high school arrived and David was a sophomore, he decided that he only wanted to play baseball and football. He and his parents decided it would be better for him to focus on his academics
I really admire the character of Alex because he is very courageous and intelligent. At the beginning of the book, Alex wanted to find out if the story about his uncle getting in a car accident was true or not, so he went to the auto wreckage center nearest his house to search for the car. Once he had been searching a lot for the vehicle, he ended up finding it to see it in perfect condition except for bullet holes in the windshield (p. 19). He heard people coming, so he hid inside the car. Then a big crane picked the car up and starting smashing it in a machine, with Alex still inside! After all the struggling, he managed to get out of the car just before it went through the part of the machine that totally crushes the car into a cylinder (p. 24). I felt pretty bad for Alex. It must have been hard for him to have to go through a really brutal training camp for something he didn’t even want to do, especially since he had just lost his last family member. He had no idea what was going to happen to him

I learned that some of the class members enjoy fine motor activities and some enjoy gross motor activities.

Along with having an amazing personal life, and many titles, Alex also had many accomplishments and some injuries. Since Alex has joined the team, they have lost very few games; even when they lose, they come back and make it right. Also, she won a gold medal at the 2015 Olympics, which shows she is an outstanding player. With accomplishments come injuries. For the ensemble to work, each individual had to contribute in some positive and beneficial way. After all, every person had to provide some piece to create our finished product, a multi-medium collage representative of our cumulative efforts. Even though our class was working towards a singular product, each member was part of a smaller group and chose an individual set of roles based on that small group’s focus area. These small groups were music, actors, playwrights, set design, and costumes. They allowed each person to have a unique perspective into the book, which enabled him or her to learn something different than his or her peers. Through this method, we were able to maintain a certain freedom by being able to individually read the
College athletes are put into games that are not only televised nationally, but sometimes even worldwide. They gain acknowledgement similar to famous figures that any other person would covet. The group discussion has just passed, and it was really a hard work and challenging. There were many precious lessons I got, and, hopefully, so did with my friends. Our group was consisting of four students. As a quantity, reasonably, we had had enough power to do a better work and gained a satisfying result. As I flashed back to the group discussion, it was enriching my memories. Some were in high spirit, remarkable and enjoyable. Opposite to it, few were disappointing.
